It does-I only use it now when necessary-He has finally quit with salt completely. He figured if he really wasn't using it, then why use fake salt-LOL I still have it in the pantry and in a salt shaker for company. I never say anything and neither do they.

My mom uses Nu Salt or No Salt (I forget what it's called) sometimes. She has diabetes and several other health problems and we *try* to keep her in line! She says she can tell the difference, but she's very grumpy when it comes to dieting and I think a lot of it is just not wanting to use a salt substitute and/or watch her diabetes. I'm not really sure if I've had the salt substitute on or in anything...

I can't believe how high of calories a can of black beans is!!! It's irking me how much of my stuff, even the stuff I thought of as healthy, is high calories, I need to do some more shopping. Upcoming diet shopping list:
No fat plain greek yogurt
tofu noodles?
no fat cottage cheese
light country crock butter
frozen veggie burgers
sugar free jello
fresh spinach

I wish avocado was in season :(

Ooo, I love avacados!!!! Smash one up with salt & pepper and spread it on a saltine! YUM!

I revised my "active.com" plan and instead of alternating walk/jog, I'm alternating a walk/brisk walk for the first week or so. This morning, the outside of my right foot is a little sore. Definitely going to have to get a better pair of shoes.

Hi ladies, thought I should stop by and get re-energized. I just am not establishing a daily exercise routine. However, I am having a love affair with pink grapefruit, generously grown by a neighbor who doesn't live here and begs us to pick them. Such a great treat to start my day. Maybe if I had to shimmy to the top of the tree every morning to pick one.......

Kudos to all of you who are doing so well. And for those of us struggling, at least we're still working toward "better" if not complete success. Yet. :)

Thank you Starry for the daily quotes - I always look forward to reading those!

((((toto and DH)))) Sending positive thoughts your way.
