after crashing and burning with the stress of the neighbors that usually knocks me off for 1 to 3 weeks.. it's not eating the wrong things its lack of eating and loosing momentum of a schedule.. Feeling regrouped and hitting a set schedule Thursday 21st. Signed up for Dietpoint on my android and will start a liver flush meal plan for 7 days paired with 10 minute cardio/strenght, and making my 10,000 steps a day. Always terrible at shopping list so happy to have that done for me.. Then going to a paleo food schedule. And want to see if cutting out some food types will affect the swelling in my throat area.

Good luck Patricia, just make sure you get a good nutritional balance (and seeing a doc about the swelling might be a really good idea)

getting back on track is my issue. I took the dogs for walks over the (gorgeous) weekend, but had to be to work too early yesterday and today...hopefully i'll be able to get off my rear end tomorrow morning and start establishing a routine again...

Thanks CES,, Irishred really struck a cord with me and I have been reading up on it ever since. Yes balance always, get rid of the stress but that would be illegal lollol .. but really and honestly it was a wake up call on how the long term stress has effected my health and I need to be more focused to handle things around me better because of it.

I have a chronic health condition and am always having to deal with pain & fatigue ... I completely agree that when you are having a rough time and routine and proper eating go out the window, I find I feel like the whole house of cards collapses and needs to be slowly and painfully built back up from the foundation ... Schedule, sleep, eating, exercising ...

But if that foundation of self-care is not there eventually you just crash and burn.

Funny fitness update re vaping: couldn't figure out why my leg muscles were so sore - til I realized that my warm-up on the step is now double time since I apparently now have more oxygen available!
Annoyingly however, I have to work harder to get the desired endorphin kick ...

Haven't heard much here lately - is everyone off busy excercising?

Thought I'd drop in to say hi and tell you what I have been up to...

For several years I have lived Full Time in an RV on the road with my husband being a Living Historian, my health finally caved in when I found out that I was Gluten intolerant had ulcers and Colitis. Living on the road takes a terrible toll on your diet, it's just to easy to eat on the run and spoil your health.

After a great deal of thought we moved to Florida and live in a nice RV resort with a pool and hot tub. I met up with some great Gals who do water aerobics and have various health problems, including weight, like me. We work out in the pool doing low impact exercises and then soak in the hot tub and support each others goals and dreams.

We have been here for just two months and I have never been healthier, I gave up the cigarettes and began vaping on my 55 birthday, even my husband started vaping to support me! my life has changed so much and become so much better! We enjoy vaping together in the evening, trying different flavors and it is sort of our hobby to try different vapor stores in our area to try new eLiquid.

I have already lost weight and am breathing better everyday. This forum has been a Godsend for me, so much support and great articles to read as well as Good Folks to talk to.

Anyway, just thought I'd join in on the conversation about getting fit, I highly recommend water aerobics as a way for people with health problems to get healthier!

ok done with the liver flush Liked it really refreshing and not over taxing. Grocery shopping today for paleo.. Adele is ready to run, and will pair up Ra with the pup for easy walks so that is two groups to be working during the week. lots of yard work and maintenance to get done this year.. I haven't fixed anything because when I do the neighbors had just destroyed it again.. Was so frustrating, upsetting for me to deal with it, that 3 years ago I just said I was going to leave it and not even attempt to fix what they tear down or tear up.. With the cameras up and taping 24/7 I feel better about starting to fix the property back up to look nice again.

still have some cold days to deal with here and there, and maybe even some snow lol... but will make my 10K steps a day one way or the other and stay strict to the Paleo which is Not hard.. Oh and I ordered coconut sugar to try.. I love sugar in my tea, and in my coffee so lets see how the coconut sugar does..
