I have to see if i can find a study that i vaguely remember...women were asked to track everything they ate, and just the act of tracking it modified their food intake by a few hundred calories a day. That's why i think paying attention is a good start.

This tracking works for a lot of things CES. Many moons ago I did a budget, and tracked every penny that was spent. I found myself not spending so I wouldn't have to write it down or forget to write it down....

Everyone is doing so good; if nothing else working on the attitude/motivation, where it all has to start from.

I haven't done so great myself. Too cold to walk. I did get on the glider for a bit. I notice my attitude/motivation is down. Hope it is just due to the weather along with I have been really tired last couple of days.

Beans and CES, Hope you both are feeling/doing better.

Hi ladies waving smiley-1.gif Just popping in for my motivation fix. It really helps me reading all your posts. :)

I went for a nice walk yesterday which left me feeling good and not so good. I used to walk through this lovely RV park everyday. 3-5 loops before I went to work and 10-12 loops on the weekends. Each loop is a little over a mile. I haven't walked it since my knee issue. Yesterday I managed one loop and didn't think it wise to push for more. I know there are other things I can do but I've always loved walking. It's going to take some serious work to get my count up.

Last night I roasted broccoli and cauliflower to go with yellow tail fish. yumm I love the cooler months when I can use the oven! On the down side, earlier I had a bloody mary with friends as we spent the afternoon on the patio. :p

Starry-Love the quotes-keep 'em coming.

Cisme-Have you ever looked at the numbers on a bloody Mary? I say they are divine, if you walk a mile-then you burn off at least 4 of them-LMAO, ever try to wobble a mile?

For those with injuries and the like-take it easy or else you just delay the healing process. I got my exercise in for the day-Go me, but I had to leave my car at the garage-I despise car work. Everything is done ma'am, you can come get your car. Yeah, right. Turn the key and start the car and the check engine light comes on-what the….You can keep it till it is right and I expect a discount for my time and mileage to pick up a non-repaired vehicle. I'll see you Monday afternoon,buh-bye.

I forgot to mention…..
I found this today at wholefoods supermarket and put 1 drop into my drink tonight, wow. I think I have found a lil something to add to my non-sweet arsenal and wonder if it can be used in our DIY.

Cisme, congrats on walking, and don't sweat the bloody mary. To be able to maintain a healthy lifestyle there has to be some flexibility :)

Stevia had been around awhile in europe Hz, i think approval for sale in the US is pretty recent. (and i think people do use it in DIY, but I'm not sure of the effect on attys)

Starry I still love the quotes.

No exercise for me yesterday, but i plan to get my 10 minutes in this morning :)

CES......good for you!!!

I won't have to do actually exercise today......I'm going to help DH paint the ceiling in the kitchen. Which means up and down on the step ladder painting the edges. Ouch for tomorrow......LOL

The one I bought was only 7.99-not bad and they had the flavored ones too!
Ladies, I know it seems pushy, but try 2 days a week of nothing with made with flour or start with one day and work to 2 then to 3. Knowing you can have it in basic quantities the other days of the week should be enough to help you make it through the couple you don't have those items. You will see a difference and it may encourage you to go another ½ a day

The SweetLeaf has made it completely doable for my coffee and custards. I really like it. I will try the liquid drops for the next batch of tea I make for my honey, we'll see if it is anything like the powder form. I use the shaker form at this time.

Another ½ lb down from last week.
