I took a wonderful class at the local hospital based gym in January 2011. It was about 14 weeks or so, and it was the best class I've experienced. It was more teaching you a life style change, etc. You wouldn't think it, but it really was a wonderfully educational class.

With that said. I try to eat as healthy as possible. I've become one of the ones who takes a standard recipe and jacks it all to hell. LOL! But I've made some cakes, ice cream, etc. that were half the original calories and didn't taste any different. So I've gotten pretty good at it.

I started last January (2011) and am currently down 96 lbs. I now jog, swim, water jog, do water aerobics, pilates, cycle, and walk.

It's a lot of hard work, but the first time you are able to buy a $14 bathing suit from Walmart because they FINALLY have my size... makes it all worth it!

Missed you guys. We are still above ground.

Neither one of us doing the greatest after I had to have a flare up also. About every day seems have a medical appointment about something. Hard when one's caregiver needs a caregiver. Don does not have to have radiation. I am thinking that he may not have to have chemo, but will know more about that when he sees the Cancer people next week. So far, so good....

Thank you so much for the positive thoughts and prayers. It really helped knowing you were all here.

See some success stories. Keep up the good work. They also discovered Don has diabetes, so trying to adapt to that also.
