Thanks, if my mouth is seriously dry and eliquid is mainly absorbed through your mouth and sinus is it possible it's hitting much faster than someone who doesn't have a dry mouth? Daily I wake up and have a coffee then have a coffee at work then nothing till super time. I drink hardly any water a day.

Take a peek at the acidic / alkaline food chart.

I too take psych meds and recently when they put me on a new med found that I was gitting dizzy and Ill with a nasty headache every time I vaped. Turns out it was a sensitivity to pg and too much nic and I was on a 3. Switched to zero on my doc's advice and I only use stuff with very high vg levels she told me some of those meds will cause pg sensitivity and speed up the way nicotine is absorbed, especially when combined with caffeine.especially anti depressants .she took me off mine and added a new mood stabilizer instead, and I am feeling way better. But because of the anti anxiety meds, which she said do the same thing, to stick to high vg levels, no nic , no caffeine and lots of water. I take meds for gerd too and the leaffey greens thing is dead on. Sorry for the lengthy post, and I hope u feel better.

Hate to triple post, but this e-juice is supposed to be really clear of additives and irritants, might help you.

Since you already seem to know Nicotine is your problem, I am not even going to get into Changes in Vaping......at this point.
Obviously you have some serious medical concerns and Medications you Must take to Help with those matters.
Your First questions to your Dr. should be about adding Nicotine to your Medicine regiment and how it may effect your treatments.

No, just for giggles.................... Have you tried, or would you try, the patch?

A good way to see if all Non-smoking methods of Nicotine intake are effecting you or only Oral intake.

You can still use your Vape gear for the hand to mouth and lung pressure habit/desires.

As you may have noted, there is an ongoing battle over the effects of Vaping on dehydration. As one who has been Hospitalized from Dehydration and have always pushed the edge - (High energy output, low body weight), I do not prescribe to Dry Mouth/Throat as heavy dehydration.

I Do Believe Nicotine, entering the Abdominal area, can have strong adverse effects on someone suffering Gerd. My Dr says Acid Reflux, and has me on what amounts to Prilosec - for life.(Had 2 Esophageal surgeries)

However, I do not suffer your other conditions. Not to the degree of medicinal treatment anyway. Therefor I am able to handle 3mg/ml nic.

Think outside the Box
:)

Sorry to say you should stop using nicotine. No one here is qualified to give advice
concerning your meds and any interaction they might have with nicotine. It would be unethical and dangerous for anyone here to give such medical advice.
Quit using nicotine post haste and discuss this issue with your doctor.

Thanks for the info, I have heard before the anti depressants and anxiety meds can mess with vaping and I also have to stay with high vg also as the of messed with my head. I ordered awhile ago 1.5 nic 100% vg and even trying to Vape that after a puff I felt somewhat ill. I also ordered a cigalike and have just made some juice for it with .25 nic which is almost nothing but in the past after a few puffs I was fine. I have ordered max vg with 0 nic so I am hoping to get the little bit of nic I need with the cigalike and then just puff away on the 0 nic the rest of the time with my Vape device.
If your Dr told you to Vape 0 nic then what are you doing about the cravings?

I have tried the patch and it was not to bad but was not able to go with step one which with the amount of smoking I do should be on, instead went to step 2 a lower dose and it was pretty good. I just really want to Vape as opposed to anything else.

It only took me like 3 days to adjust because my lovely machine is mouth to lung , but it was mainly the repetitive motion and the inhale of it for me plus my juice is really good.but I did feel just a bit crazy the first day and a half or so, but am doing good now.but like noob said discuss it w your dr, and I really didn't mean to step on anyone's toes or be unethical, that was just my personal experience, and you really probably should talk to your own doc because you may be in a different situation than me and your doc may tell u something different

I never once asked for medical advice if you read my post. I am simply wanting feedback from others that may have the same issues and actually I have got posts from people with similar problems.

I don't think you stepped on anyone's toes. Your post actually gives me things to think about and relate to. Good for you for getting of the analogues and thanks for your input.

Now I am confused. Feedback from others with the same problem is not medical
advice? Excuse me for asking have you mentioned the specific medications you are
using? Have you asked a Doctor if any advice you may have gleaned from the internet
is helpful, appropriate and or safe to follow.
Please do not get me wrong. Asking for any advice concerning a medical condition
on a forum is just as unsafe as for us to give you any advice.
Please consult a Doctor.

Some day someone is going to have to Explain this BIG Dehydration issue to me.

At time of switching to Vaping, I Was:
58yrs old
128lbs
under 5% Body fat - total BMI 17
Smoked 1.5 PAD
Worked 12hr shifts Lifting/Stacking/loading in a Distribution warehouse. Fast Paced, Labor intensive, often heavy lifting - Summer heat to 115+

Switching to Vaping in no way effected my Hydration rate and if anything, made my life much easier because I started Breathing better and recovering from exhausting levels faster.

* Long ago, I collapsed from true dehydration. Woke up in the hospital. Learned the value of seeing the signs(not dry mouth) and taking early action. Also learned the value of not over hydrating...............oh yes you can.

Overhydration

Is it possible you are experiencing withdrawals from the other nicotinoids which are in tobacco but which are not found in most vape liquids?
Is it possible your body, having reacted badly to vaping nicotine in the past now has an automatic adverse reaction to vaped nicotine (like feeling sick if one smells food that one once got food poisoning from)?
Is it possible that because you felt sick from vaping nicotine initially, your subconscious is anxious about it, and that that makes you feel rough?
What happens if you use nicotine patches, inhalers, sprays or lozenges?

Have been on a wide range of psychiatric medication combinations since just before I took up vaping nearly four years ago, and have yet to experience issues such as you describe.

I was wondering that since I OD a bit on the nic vaping a long time ago that possible my anxiety and bad nerves automatically kick in. I have tried the patch and it works.
