Problem I'm having with the LT is voltage under load. Just checked it and it's set on 4 volts and is giving 3,7 under load. That is with a 2.4 ohm CE3. It should easily push 4 volts through that and it's not. It's like that with everything I have checked.Of course with the newer versions (I have v1) thats less of a problem. I will have a ProVari next week. The LT is a fine device but I want more.

Your battery probably needs charging. The output voltage drops almost at the same rate the battery is depleted. A fully charged battery should give you at least 4v or more with that carto. Push the red button six times to see the battery voltage, I'm guessing it will show in the low 3s

Been off the boards for a lil bit. I was going to start a new thread but I figured I'd try this wonderful thread first.

I got a Lavatube from Apollo E-Cigs a while back (when they were barely coming out) so I'm pretty sure it's a v1.0. Anyway, I got the Mini-Sub tank and some juices from Mom & Pop Vapor Shop. While I love their customer service and genuine customer care, I was less than impressed with vapor production, draw, and taste. It could have been the juices or maybe I'm not a carto fan but I enjoyed vaping more with a 510 atty and some Backwoods Brew.

The thing is I went back to smoking analogs and I really want to try and quit again. If I have to drip, I'll drip but tanks just seem like the better way to go for a hassle-free enjoyment. Any recommendations?

Vivi Nova tanks. I use those and I also drip. I can't tell any difference. They have mini nova's now if size is an issue, but the big ones aren't all that big, especially on a LT.

Yeah, its called getting a bottom feeder and being able to enjoy the atty on it.... Might also suggest if you go that route to get a Cisco spec LR306 atty to replace the 510 as well....

Antihero...I have three 2.5 novas from gotvapes but you can find them cheaper by a buck or two. The mini nova's are on their way from China. I got those from Health Cabin for $11 along with some other stuff.

After trying around 30 juices from 6 -7 diff vendors, these are the ones I'd recommend:

Copper Creek--House Blend
Alien Visions--Boba's Bounty I drip this because it's so damn thick--100%VG)
Pure Vapes--Carrot Cake (my fave so far) extra flavor and one spoon of sugar
Highbrow Vapor--Creme Brulee, Orange de Sangre (extra flavor)
Heather's Heavenly Vapes--Gandolf
ECBlends--White Peach ala Zoe (extra flavor and a shot of vanilla)

I agree with the Vivi. I have a couple of Apollos, DCTs, Stardusts, and others, but I really am using the heck out of my Vivi right now. The Vivi is easy to use, clean, rebuild, and I think it has the "cleanest" taste of any tank I've tried.

The vivi nova is great, I just got the mini today (for my leo batteries) and a new 3.2 ohm head -- and it's the bees knees as far as I'm concerned. With a LT, two 3.7 leo batteries, two vivi novas and a mini, and I'm done (for now) acquiring equipment. Now I can focus on trying different liquids

Thanks a ton. I'll grab a Vivi or two come payday and I think I'll try the CC House Blend and HHV Gandolf since you and tlmoody27 both recommend those. (I like tobacco / menthol flavors.)

Antihero, I believe you can add menthol to the Gandolf. It's a really unique vape and the purest "tobacco" taste I have. I have a big bottle coming Monday and I'm devoting a Vivi Nova tank to it. If I devote a tank to it, its freakin' special. The House Blend is a more sweet vape with light tobacco undertones, it's deelish. It has it's own tank too...nuff said. They are both darn good upon arrival but they'll really grow on you after a few days.

antihero: the leo is just a regulated 3.7v ego-clone with a proprietary connector, made by boge. It just happens to be what I ordered for my first kit, which was quite inexpensive. I think they're kind of old-hat now, and I don't use the leo heads anymore, though the batteries give good performance (they maintain a consistent 3.7v through the discharge cycle), and work great with the vivi nova and mini nova (with a 510 adapter), which are now what I'm using almost exclusively.
