Antihero, I believe you can add menthol to the Gandolf. It's a really unique vape and the purest "tobacco" taste I have. I have a big bottle coming Monday and I'm devoting a Vivi Nova tank to it. If I devote a tank to it, its freakin' special. The House Blend is a more sweet vape with light tobacco undertones, it's deelish. It has it's own tank too...nuff said. They are both darn good upon arrival but they'll really grow on you after a few days.

This kit right? and as for the Gandalf what PG/VG ratio do you prefer in your Vivi on the LT?

Received this reply from Rachel. Hoping she won't mind my posting it, no big secrets that I can see.

Errol,

Thanks for the update!

Orachel,
Glad it's not too serious but still sorry your not doing well. Just know you are missed and I am thinking about you and wishing the best for you. Hope to "see" you back soon.

anyone has problems with their LT threading?

it seems that cartos are no issue screwing them down. However i cant seem to screw a vivi nova or a ego type adapter in as they seem to loose a fit. it'll just pop back out and i can push the vivi all the way in but the threads wont catch on.

Another party had bad threads in his APV and we were able to solve it via PMs. I'll PM you the discussion.

My Vivi attached fine at first but won't stay on now, I think it's threads are kinda cheap and have become stripped. I now have to use an adapter for it, either a 510-510 shorty or 510-eGo.

Damn i almost caught up with myself, i read this entire thread in prep for my lt ,v1,, that i got off the classifieds here, traded a gripper vv for it, and now no Orachel? Hope you feel well soon, I learned alot from you and many others , thank you Oh the gripper is way over powered 3v is like 4.5-4.7 , im a clearo user and every thing tasted burnt ,diy juice may have played a role, seems to like the low power which i couldnt get with the gripper, the kit came with a DC SUB tank which Id never tried, and will never try again,I started on resurrectors and the were great.. at first.. til i tried a CE2 . never looked back or went back to fiberfil anything nor will I, it was alot of misses , cracked tubes and leakes and whatnot but the Royal Smoker brand CE2 , not the im rambleing, for me those resurrectors were always leaking into my threads, i tried one yesterday, just reading so much about them got it in my head, for the heck of it.. blah, so far this LT is ok, its smaller than i expected WEB pics always make things look huge , its a Vapor Nine version so i guess its a clone? Its got good threads and the trader said it was only a month old, Ive got an Arry Ce2v2 tank on it, first time using tank also,so far so good...

I am looking at the litecigusa vari tube and would like to know if its a good product. i think its kind of new to the market. Anyone have anything good or bad to say about it? thanks

I can't speak on the Vari-tube, I have never heard anything good or bad about them. I checked their website, and the things that would keep me from buying one is the 14 day warranty, and the fact that I have never heard anything about them.

Apollo's Vtube is almost identical (lower amp switch, and a few small cosmetic differences), but they offer a 1 year warranty, and GREAT customer service. I think they are still offering a 30% off discount code for them too.

is it safe to assume all of those similarly looking tubes are made by the same company?

It's never safe to assume that anything that looks exactly like anything else is made by the same company whether it's pv's or juice holders or anything. And there can be vast differences in quality and performance. With the LT type devices, someone else can explain this better than I can, but from reading it seems there is a yung june type (I"m sure I spelled that wrong) and another type. Most seem to prefer the yung june type.

I flew to check this out and apollo is out of stock, unless someone wants red.
