Saw, you were in a "comfort zone", talking about something you are VERY knowledgeable about. It's something most of us fall victim to once in a while.

I am fascinated by both woodworking and precision metalworking. In those two areas I have virtually zero knowledge or talent, but they are of interest nonetheless.

My talents lie in electronics and, for the last 15+ years, in fiber optic communications systems.

Well maybe we need to work together on a mod? I design and machine around the components you select, then you assemble them!
I do fine with rough carpentry, sheetrock etc. I can install a window so tight it doesn't need shims (You can get away with that with the vynil windows), side and trim it. But interior trim kicks my .... everytime! That is a true art! Then going back and forth between wood and metal can take a while! I was so used to .875" it took me a long while to figure out what 7/8's" was:D I am finally getting to where I don't have to count the lines on the tape measure to know what it is:lol:

That's an interesting idea, but my plate is pretty full right now. I work every day and help take care of my mother who can't see well enough to drive herself. On top of that, we live on a 100 acre farm and something always needs to be fixed.

I even felt a little guilty about taking 3 days to drive down & visit my daughter and all 5 of my grandchildren.

So the is the bottom of the carts that are not molded right? I've been having a problem with carts not screwing onto my battery all the way (not sure if carts or battery yet) and some carts seem to get a lot of air and less vapor.

I believe what you are talking about is just variations in the way the threads are cut. It happens to me, not often, but frequently enough that I don't see it as strange.

I just tighten-loosen-tighten-loosen-tighten (maybe less, maybe more) and they always wind up seating just right. The battery threads appear to be steel and the carto threads are aluminum. The harder metal wins.

I spent xmas eve partying in my friend Ralphie's bar. He's German, but has lived in Thailand just about his whole life. Made several new friends, and saw a couple old ones, finally met Ralphie's Dad, saw his brother again for the first time in a couple years, Gave away almost all my batteries and carts, was almost buried in all the rounds of drinks. At one point I had 5 open drinks in fron of me, and everyone was giving me xxxx for being behind everyone else in drinks. :D  These Germans can drink Americans under the table. Or maybe it's just me.

I have no idea what time I was poured into bed, but I woke up next to the bartender I've been flirting unsuccessfully with for over 3 years now. Too bad I don't remember any of that.
