I think I saw a fix for this, but the Phoenix thread has taken on a life of it's own so I was not able to find it. Hopefully someone can post it here or a link?

My latest Phoenix is dumping juice. I filled it upside down like the others, vaped a bit, then it started dumping juice. The first time it dumped about 1/4 of the tank, then was fine. The second fill it dumped all of the juice. Help, please? TIA

I would suggest making sure that the seal at the top is sitting in the correct position. Depending on how many times it was filled the hole for the syringe may have become enlarged and it may not be creating the seal that's needed.

If you have another Phoenix try using a seal from that one see if it corrects the problem.

did you refill the carto while it wasnt all the way empty? i have to vape mine dry and THEN refill otherwise i screw up the vacuum pressure deal and it leaks.

maybe the top seal is broken and its letting air in to the tank? i noticed my 3.3ml phoenix is leaking because the fill hole (where i push the needle through) doesnt re-seal itself....so that one leaks.

I have 6 of these in rotation, 5 work beautifully, but 1 will dump my entire tank of juice if I refill it. I tried doing everything refilling it "by the book" which is working for the others, but this one I have given up on. I don't know what to do as this one just doesn't seem to like me. The others recognize I am a nice person and are trying to be cooperative. The XL's are not too expensive so I'll just write this one off, but would love to know if anyone discovers a trick to make this stop happening. I am giving my bad boy the same amount of TLC I am giving all my good boys.

i would try to change the top seal of a working phoenix and put it in the one thats leaking.....this might be the issue.

yep I was going to suggest the same thing, are you using the rubber drip tip or a hard one that fits very tightly it might be stretching out the plastic around the seal not allowing a tight seal. I would suggest trying to use the rubber one on the one that leaks and push it right down against the seal to see if that helps.

So ah, what am I doing wrong with these things?! Everything goes fine. I turn it upside down to fill, it's fine. I can throw it around, no leaking. I put it on my device(s) (Vector Variable Volt, Twist) and vape away. Great flavor, great vapor. When I unscrew it from the device(s), I hear kind a quick 'chug' sound, and a little juice leaks out of the battery connector. The heck?

I kinda disappeared for a while. I left this one to the side for when I had more time to check it out. Everything looked fine, wicks lined up, top sealed, all that. When I was watching Bad's video again for how to take them apart though, I realized that I have a tendency to flip the Phoenix back right side up before removing the needle. So I took it apart and cleaned it, along with some others. Time will tell if that was the problem, but there is still a guessing game, because I am not sure which Phoenix was having the problem.
