What color is the LED on the batteries? Can you choose the color? I couldn't find the info on the V4L website.

unfortunately it's not set up to choose right now, because their shipments have come mixed together. but they're all either blue or green, with the exception of the generic white shorties (i don't think those are still even on the site tbh)--all the V4L batts, at any rate, are blue or green LED.
no prob. i personally like the blue LEDs and i think it's nigh intolerable that i can't have blue every time. okay, it's tolerable. but i like the blue ones better.

We want purple just as badly as some of you, but our manufacturer says they can't find a source. I've sent them links to other manufacturers models with purple LEDs to prove that they are available, but for obvious reasons they can't just ask their competitors where to get them.
BUT, they did find Pink LEDs, and we'll have some batts with those before Chinese New Years.

Black or chrome batteries would look good with pink or purple LEDs! But question: are we going to be able to choose LED colors in the future? I only ask because I don't know too many guys that would be excited to get a battery with a pink LED.
HOLY CRAP!!! I want a chrome manual XL batt with purple LED. That would amazing!
