I haven't bought a rba in a while and looking to upgrade from my old Kayfuns. I know these are all very popular but I'm not sure which one to get and I'll probably only get one so it needs to be the right choice. Here are some additional notes if it helps.

I probably won't do builds below 1 ohm. I usually prefer a tighter draw and flavor is the most important factor. And of course, I will be buying a clone for the most part because I am going to be broke soon from buying school books.

Thanks for your input!

I would say the Lemo. So far, it has been the best rba I've used. In terms of ease of use, ease of build, flavor, it's top notch. Only cons, for me, are airflow is kind of weird to adjust and you can't pull the deck out to work on it (but once you get a great build and a good wick setup there'll be no need.)

Yes I've heard great things about the Lemo. The Lemo drop is essentially the same thing except smaller right? I haven't kept up with the RBA developments lately but a few months ago, the Orchid and the Erlkonigin were the talk of the town. The new kayfun v4 looks very nice with all its new enhancements and upgrades ( compared to my v2 ones) but between these, I wouldn't know which one would be better for me.

If you like a tighter draw,i would not reccomend the orchid,as it has a pretty open airy draw,it's great for lung hits though.I haven't tried the other 2 you mentioned so i can't say on those, but you may like the aqua v2 as well. You can get a tobeco clone for around $25,or angel ecigs has their clone for like $15.It has adjustable airflow and from what i've experienced with it so far,it puts out excellent flavor.

I have/had all of them. Are you partial to flavor or clouds more? What are you running it on?

If you are running mech or something like the mvp or istick, I would skip the Orchid to stay above 1ohm. It doesn't really come alive until 0.3-0.6 ohm IMO..

The other 3 are all great as single coil, non sub ohm tanks. The Lemo can be adjusted for an open draw or tightened down. The kayfuns all have a pretty tight draw. The Erlk can be tight to medium open draw.

I have Kayfun Lite V2 and Erlkonikin clones, and a Lemo Drop. All are pretty interchangeable for me. Similar flavor, vapor production. Lemo can open up for lung hitting, while the others are for mouth to lung. Because of bigger airflow, you can run the Lemo up to 30 watts while the Kayfun and Erl will start dry hitting about 18 watts. I have experienced trouble with the Erl clone 510 pin being too short for my MVP and Istick. Works OK with mods with floating or adjustable 510 pins like my IPV Mini, Yosen Zero Mod V2 clone, and SX Mini.

The Kayfun V4's juice control is great for avoiding leaks when running around with the tank in your pocket or packing for air travel. The top fill feature and ability to rebuild without draining tank makes it easier to use than the older Kayfuns and the Lemo. The Erl is top fill, but you must drain to rebuild. Longer term the Kayfun will probably have a bigger pool of aftermarket accessories to play with like drop kits, bell caps, etc. than the others. So I'd go for the Kayfun V4. I hear the new clones are pretty good.

I want something that is easy to build on, flavor is more important than clouds, and I will most likely only use single coil builds as I'd like to keep things simple. I am leaning towards the KFL 4 or Lemo, they both have adjustable airflow right? And yea, I prefer a tighter mouth to lung draw and don't like it being too airy. I suppose the new Kayfun has some really nice features but is the flavor really better on the Lemo? From what I have read around the forums, many people seem to think so.

I recently got the Lemo Drop. I wished I hadn't! I think its mainly for lung hitters.

I have only Kayfuns and thought getting the Lemo with the glass tank would be great. But I too like a tighter draw but it seems if you tighten the draw on the Lemo you get very harsh hits.

Im still playing with it though. Just wish I saw the Kayfun 4 clone first.

I recently purchased an erlkonigin mini clone 3ml and I love this thing so much that I'm ordering two more. It takes some learning to get the wicking right, but it's really very simple once you nail down the technique. This thing blows away the russians and kayfuns flavor wise. It's super light weight and compact compared to all the others mentioned and it's not overly engineered like the kf4. And the way the erl top fills on the fly is leaps and bounds easier and faster than the kf4 btw, which is why I prefer the 3ml mini over the full size erl. You can adjust the air flow from a semi tight draw mouth to lung hitter, all the way to very open draw almost a lung hitter. These little Erl's are awesome devices imho.

Well, I already ordered a Lemo Drop but I am tempted to pick up another tank.. either Kayfun 4 or Erlkonigin. Did you get your mini kit from Fasttech for the Erl? Is the Erlkonigin really that finicky to work with? I really like the design and the size of the mini version but I cannot make up my mind as to which one to get. I just splurged on a bunch of crap last night so I can't buy everything I want :(. Since the Kayfun v4 just came out, I would assume it is the newest and greatest right now but man those 30 pieces that come apart is kind of intimidating.

A common problem with the Erlkonigin is the whooshing sound. You can mute some of it by taking out the AFC and putting in an o-ring. But it still makes noise.

For a single coil device I would go for the new Taifun GT V2 . So easy to build and adjustable AFC. The Lemo would be my second choice.

Dual coil so many great choices; Orchid, Aqua V2, Fogger, Goblin, etc.

I was getting a bit irritated with the KF4 as well. And then it broke in! Sounds kind of odd as we aren't talking about a pair of boots, but man, this thing is just great now. All of the threading was just so tight it was very difficult to get the different pieces apart. It takes a little getting used to but I'm not going to be using anything else for awhile. Better flavor IMO than the Lemo/KFL+V2 and now that everything is broken in it's a breeze to use.

Is it really that good a vape on the Kayfun V4? Vastly superior to the KF V3? With all the new atomizers out there, with much more simple designs, I just can't help but think the complexity of the KF V4 was just to make it more difficult to clone and not necessarily for an improvement in performance. Has anyone compared this yet to the Taifun GT V2?
