I remembered after all this time that when I took a 2 week motorcycle ride to the west coast, when we got to the desert We all got a small bottle of lemon juice to put a few drops in our water. If this old memory serves me right it quinced the thirst and keep everyone hydrated proplerly. Has anyone tried lemon water? Just wonders cause I've been haveing some hydration problems. Thirst never goes away and up every hour to go pee at bed time.

I use to play soccer when I was a kid. The music teacher was a tough SOB but he wanted us to be fit for marching. So we played soccer. He would have us and I believe other soccer players would suck on lemons instead of drinking a whole lot of water. Nice thing is no sugar or other additives. Good clean taste and it cleanses the pallet. Lemon and honey are still the best natural throat med for colds etc. I use to drink hot lemonade for flu and colds it is an astringent that cleans out phlegm and soothes the throat. Kept me out of trouble.
In San Antonio where I use to live if you ever get water at a restaurant they always ask "with lemon". So I do believe there is something to that practice.

I disagree on that San Antonio point. I think it's because people are cheap as hell here and they make their own lemonade instead of paying for a drink lol.

Can ya tell I don't like it here? Ha.

Hmmmm, that sounds suspicious. I'd get checked out at the doc's. Unless you are low carbing or taking some diuretic, it's not good to be thirsty and having to get up that much. Else, if you are pushing water too fast, the body cannot utilize water very quickly and will process it out of the system quickly rather than process it into your system. So, sip water frequently throughout the day rather than trying to guzzle down a lot at one time.

you should probably go to the dr and get checked out. get dizzy spells, have a hard time seeing or random tiredness? constant thirst is one of the big signs for diabetes.

Could be a problem doc should check it out. Vaping will do it too. I am thirsty all the time but I just had a check up and no problems found.
But it can't hurt to see the doctor.

Were you born there or are you a transplant. Only thing I didn't like was getting an SUV stolen. Probably across the boarder in no time. That and the traffic on 410. Loved the food. I gained like 40 pounds when I moved there. I miss my "Taco Taco" taco's and Caparelli's pizza etc. and the River walk. I do not miss the mountain cedar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No diabeties I've been checked for that. I've always drank LOTS of fluid ie water. Found out on one checkup that my sodium level was in the danger zone. Was told to stop drinking water, start drinking sports drinks, (Gatorade), and get on a high sodium diet. Heck just shoot me. I did the lemon water last night and felt really good this morning. (But I slacked of my vaping before bedtime also.) that was the hardest part cause I got a new coffee flavor I was really enjoying...............

I was thinking this. But with our new super vaping noses you'd be able to smell how sweet your urine is, too.
