On my Provari I use the AW IMR High Drain 18650's, 1600mAh. This Boge 2ohm sees to mow them down so I can only imagine a dual coil...

I have one AW IMR 18650 for my rough stack (no VV) and I have another IMR 18650 from COV (it's a 1500 mah - don't know what brand but it is orange colored like the AW but no logo). I can't quite get a long day out of either of them with the DCs. I have a black and silver AW 2600 mah that goes all day and then some, but I can notice a performance difference on the bottom half of the charge.

The DCs eat 5.0v batts fast. Really fast. I can vape a 2.8 or 3.0 ohm atty on the 5.0v batts for 6 to 7 hours. The DCs drain them in 3 to 4.

Well, I hope someone sends you one to try. You might decide swapping batteries mid-day is worth it. The 2.0 ohm boge might beat these in flavor - maybe. If I didn't have DCs, I'd probably use the boge at least occasionally. The DCs are higher capacity, though.

the DC's have taken over the thread; they are the "latest thing" and not knocking, but i'm surprised no one mentioned the Iken Fusion carto.

If you check the Fusion threads, including the Beta threads, they are said to be tops and better than the DC's by some...

mwa knows about Fusion too.

Do they have those in a 510? I'm not one for using adapters but given that if the product that good, I might sway a little

get an adapter (510 to 801) from Iken... about 3 or 4 $... the Fusions are sharp looking and the adapter looks like a natural extension.

dspin and i know about adapters; some don't fit on certain pv's ... for bottom feeders, r&r makes a custom with a needle inside.

i think Iken's adapters are very good for most fits.

What would you compare the fusion to? I am trying to avoid the filler-type if possible, but really, they're not all that bad - more experimenting is needed for sure to come to a solid conclusion. Thanks for the recommendation uke.

I have to agree that this carto comes closest to direct dripping in vapor and taste.

I use both. I see drawbacks to carto's, Problems that are easily handled by an atty and cart. I love my clear dual carotmizers but they are almost too large in capacity, and are juice hogs - you cannot get all the juice to vape that are on the sides of the filler material.. some always stays in there, so either top it off with the same juice or waste it.

Sometimes you only wanna vape so much then switch flavors. Carts can be ideal for this ( although I can make a cart last 3 hours with 18 drops) if you have to waste a flavor so you can add another and have a limited number of cartsm this amount isn't that much.

You Can't Drip on a filtered dual coil or single coil that's made the same way.

sure you can, if it's a clear one. pull the tube off unroll the filler and pop the tube back on. drip str8 on the coil(s) and your good to go

Er.. wont that carto never be the same again? LOL I have heard horror stories about taking the filler apart and trying to put it back together.

some people have luck with putting the filler back together, but im talking about taking the filler out completely and just using the coils to drip with. havent tried it yet with my clear duals but have done it allot on horizontal coiled cartos and it works great

OK, I have a question for this discussion. Do brand new blank cartomizers need time to break in? The one I'm using now, is vaping a whole lot better after all day using it. Also, the liquid taste f'ing fantastic for the first time.

my dual coils took a little bit to break in but none of my others did for some reason

um... where did you buy em from? if they were dual coils you would know.. only 2 companies make them and they don't come with any kits or anything

I have found that it is always best to let your carto sit for 15-30 minutes after filling before vaping.
