The problems that plagues most, if not all of the atty's/cartos, are the crappy factory coils and small diameter wicks. This is one of the main reasons that RBA's are so popular now. If the coils were heavier gauge kanthal with larger diameter silica this would be a major improvement. I rebuild coils all the time but would rather not have to. I just want to enjoy vaping as hassle free as possible. How about factory made micro or nano coils with replaceable cotton wicks? Also, some type of adjustable airflow would be a big help. I would gladly pay a little more for the convenience. Just food for thought...

Hey Bad how about this build one like a protank with a removable base that has a small dc pancake fan in it with adjustable airflow that blows the vape out, oh and can't forget this PS: Pami's multicolored glass would be awesome! smokey/purple trippy wave for me please.:) The tech is out there somewhere I'll bet:D

I just want a tank that doesn't gurgle/leak. I love my vivi novas...leak into the connection regularly. Pleased with the MT3...gurgles like mad...lovin' the iClear 30....can't fill past the line or leaks like a sieve. I've been wondering for a while why they don't make larger capacity T3's...most of us use larger mods now, so a 3.5-5 ml T3 should be do-able. I LOVED my AGA-T, but that was with the first wick/coil I ever built. Haven't even come close to duplicating that first one 20 attempts later. Hotspots galore.... end of stream of conscious....

In my opinion, you almost have a winner in the Raven's Nest.
The Raven carto's are already awesome, but the tank could use just a few changes to make it perfect:

    1) build with stainless steel or titanium instead of cheapo chrome
    2) disassemble-able (word?) with carto-locking bottom cap, and fill-port on top cap
    3) pyrex inner tube available in several colors (yes, purple included)

(I also like harmonic's idea of varied designs)

I was going to suggest all of these! What do they say about great minds? :headbang:

I'd like to find something like the new fogger v2 but with a more normal glass tank part and one cap not two. A normal pyrex cylindrical tank, not stepping shaped. If the top was just a cap that screwed off that'd make it easy to fill & clean with only one thing to take off. Instead of the cap coming down & covering half the device & making the pyrex tank a funky shape not to mention the second cap under it with a fill hole in that cap, seems redundant. Fogger V2 seems like it's going in the right direction but it still needs some work to be perfect.

My list of what I want:
    Rebuildable, and easily rebuildable
    Easy access to rebuildable parts
Can use either SS or silica wicks
Can use any normal drip tip
    Pyrex, no cracking plastic
    Stainless steal, nothing plated
Pocket friendly, no leaking or having to keep it up right
    Adjustable air flow
    Easy to clean
    Easy to fill
Same width as evic, provri, vmax and all them similar sized devices
Hold at least 3.5 ml, more than one size a plus
Spring loaded positive pin or at least an adjustable pin
No fragile pins or anything wonky inside
Available, not sold out all the time
    Affordable
    Looks good
    vapes great

I thank you for this thread...
As a new Vaper I do not "know much But much of what I Like ATM has been said...
being new you have no clue of what juice you like and going with a Clearo or protank kinda is a waste of juice if you do not like it...
I am looking into the dual AGA but, do not think it is very Pocket Friendly and a Bit large for ego style Mods...
I would loce the Simplicity of a 510 atty with a small tank to avoid spillage ...

Yeah I heard horrible things about the first version. There's a version 2 coming out that looks promising, but like I said still has some quirks like the weird tank shape. The one I'm talking about is the one people are talking about in this thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/rebuildable-atomizer-systems/461281-fogger-v2-wow.html I like the idea of this version, but I'm still waiting for one to arrive.

I like tanks & I like my AGA-T2's the most out of everything I have tried so far. But they produce hot spots at the worst times, like when you're out and about at the bar. And they are so finicky to rebuild and hard to clean. I liked the eternity something too that I got from you guys awhile back but they are so delicate and have such tiny tanks but they vape great!

The Fogger V2 seems like a mix of my 2 favs. Again at least on paper. I think it's a real step in the right direction though. Haven't seen anything out yet that does all of what I'd like yet.

The V6 auto was my first automatic battery. I found the auto battery can be very convenient when you need your hands free. The new technology does mostly prevent misfires. I can't say always since I've only used these for a short time. I really want to keep a dependable auto battery in my arsenal. (sadly the v6 didn't make the cut.) The V6, as I've heard of most autos, has the fatal flaw of moisture in the switch.

There is a new FDA approved product called HzO WaterBlock. It's purported to be a nanotech coating which sheds moisture. It appears to be mostly at the manufacturing level at this point, but will make it to consumer level in the future.

WaterBlock is designed to protect electronics for up to 30 minutes of total immersion, but has a low (120C) max temp rating. I would think a manufacturer could create an auto battery protected by waterblock and prevent the switch from being shorted or clogged. It appears that this would allow even a washing under the tap to clean out the buildup of juice residues and other detritus. If this were done correctly with a high level of dependability it would cost more, however there does appear to be a market for a reliable autobattery.

I would like to see a reasonable sized autobattery utilizing:
    • most recent/reliable electronics (waterblocked)
    • replaceable, plug in fire switch (waterblocked) isolated from main electronics and battery
    • variable voltage
    • 400-650 mah
    • approximate diameter of the ego
    • possibly available in a small box as well as ego style
    • on/off switch for storage
    • small size for stealth vaping

I got a Fogger V2 Friday btw, and it is really nice. Can't wait for a V3! I've been using it instead of my aga-t2's since I got it, and I already prefer it over them. I like the build of it. It's about as close as anything I know of that's not outrageously priced that does more of the things on the list I gave than anything else does. Can't wait to see if it's the one you're going to carry or if you're going to carry something similar to it. I still wish the glass wasn't such an odd shape.

I'd love to see a 3-post RBA, with airflow control, and a locking cap. Something I've never seen in an RBA before, but that I'd like to see, is a cap that has removable inserts of various size to either increase or decrease the chamber size. All of that can contribute to amount of vapor/flavor, and almost nobody likes the same thing. If it could be bottom fed, then you'd also please a lot of us who also own Reos :) It's a lot to ask, but it pretty much hits every spot in regards to being a fully adjustable RBA.
