My friend Rickajho is getting one of the vvs, but I'm not sure if he's getting carving or not. I'm getting one of the 14500s... can't wait! And the shiny mod guy is Lewis Gentry... I looove those shiny woods, with the super deep burls. You know he puts up to 15 coats on one of those? I almost fell over when I read that.

Yeah, tmcase, we're all in the same "boat".
I'm liking it,I have a few wood mods setting around and when the girls get to rough housing they fall like domino's.This baby looks sweet,and no domino effect.
Just got done building my new light tent and made my Gepetto the first subject.
A little more shadow than I would like as these are with lights on both sides, still need to rig up a way to get an overhead light.
Also snapped these really quickly as I just wanted to try out the lighting so the depth of field is a little off from what I wanted. Looks cool, but doesn't show the detail I was going for.
That's a Mom and Pop Mini-Sub tank with a Boge SR carto.

Ok heres mine.
Ok... they're all gorgeous, but that Camel one... So danged cool! Wherever did you find such a creation? Or did you have it made specially? REALLY dig the shape on that... reminds me of a flask, and the tank on top sorta adds to that impression.
I love it a ECF member made it.I got it off the classies its VV and even has a led read out and a wheel to ajust the voltage.
