I KNOW!!!! Arent they flat out gorgeous! I about swooned when he posted the first one...heck I want one for my new stainless lava, till I can schwangle the funds for my wooded indulgence... I think it would look sharp, especially with that glossy ca finish! I love all the wood tanks, lately. We've got the new Phiniac Phineers (not my favorite name, but still incredible mistified marquetry tank veneers), and the new gentry glossy tanks, and ha-y-n is gonna try to make some based on a photo of a wooden utensil holder I found on the internet. He hasn't started yet, but this is the photo he's working from. I think this thing would be cool as heck, with the bits of bark showing.

Has anyone seen these new wood tanks from Lewis Gentry? It seems they would look awesome on some of these wood mods. I haven't got one yet but plan on getting one soon. This is a Cocobolo DCT

Know what you mean about this site being a money pit. I wound up buying 2 sets of his wood mods. Was looking for a black mini Provari which was out of stock, and ran across these.

And they are available for ordering now, which is not good for my bank account. I'm seriously thinking about getting one of the Lewis Gentry mods, and I like the features of the XL3 for the stepped VV. As for the top portion, what types of cartos / atties would fit in that section?

I went the E Power mod for the smaller overall size, though I was really torn between that and the XL3 mini.

Now the base of the cone for the EPower is larger than the XL3 which is eGo threading. So the cone may be a little different. I can fit any 510 carto except of course the eGo mega stuff. Just ask over in his supplier forum to be sure. They are real helpful and can give you a definitive answer.

I have two also. I have a Redwood Burl Indulgence that has a lot of green in it and a 14650 Redwood like Big has. I think the LG mini with a matching tank would look very nice! They all look incredible. I couldn't take the pressure and I just ordered the Box Elder XL3 (black/green):
LG XL3 - Variable Voltage - Box Elder Burl (black/green)

Now I need to hunt for the AW protected cell batteries, good charger (probably the Pila), and some cartos I can use with the cone since all I have right now are the eGo tanks and clearos.

It's going to be a good week for vape-mail!

That is a beautiful one for sure. I've been admiring it for awhile. I didn't see the cone for it. I see it is listed as having a matching cone but the price it shows is the same as for just the tube. I'm wondering if this is a typo or did you talk to him before you ordered?

Hey, if you're interested in Pila chargers, do a check and look at some reviews for the Xtar WP2 chargers... discountvapers carries those as well. The WP2 2 channel charger is $18, and the 6 channel charger is $33. I did a ton of research and they have the exact same smart charge capabilities as the pila for a much much lower cost. Here's a review on the Xtar WP2 II which is what sold me. The WP2 w 6channels behaves much the same way, but has a few tiny differences. This same reviewer has one in her channel that tells you about the 6 channel,as well, if you're curious. Just figured I'd better pop up in case you wanted to save $30 or so. lol Oh, you can use the difference to order a cone for your new mod! LOL Guessing Gentry would have a wood that would match the one you've just bought. He does incredible gorgeous wood driptips as well. And really makes sense, since chargers and cone are at same place. lol I als followed up this review with a ton of research on the xtar WP2 at candlepower.com. The general consensus is the last gen of xtar chargers weren't nearly as good, but this new gen is outstanding, and in some ways better than pila. I'm in no way an authority, but I've been on a mad hunt to check out quality batts and chargers last few days, and I hunted up reviewers who are very well respected for their opinions.

ooh, or you could use it to buy your wood tank! Now that thing with a wood tank would be el primo. Driptip would be awesome, but aafter the mod and the tank, you could put anything on it and it would be fabulous. Oh, you know what would look awesome on that mod/tank combo in a drip tip? One of those very simple blown glass driptips in the amber or green glass... I think they're like $14. I've got a link for em somewhere, if you want it just pm me.

Thanks! I'm completely jazzed about this mod. You were correct about the cone not being included and Eric at Discount Vapers offered to cancel the order if I wanted. But I told him that it's all good and for the price I paid and went forward with the order. I have some CE4+ clearos that run at 2.4+ ohms that don't work well on my 3.3v eGo batteries, so I'll use those on this mod @ 4.2v until I decide on a good tank setup to come later. Either a wood tank by Gentry in the same wood or a phiniac etched tank in green. For now I just need batteries and a charger.
