50% off... HD49N

That code is only for their vookah line of liquids, pre-filled cartos and disposables. And maybe the cheap 510 style kit.

The last 50% off code for the Vmod kits was PBF334 and that expired 11/25.

If anything else pops up I'll post. But so far they ain't giving' up nuttin' on Vmods or attys etc.

If the OP isn't receiving sales notices try setting up your e-mail with Vapage again. That 1/2 price sale on the vookah stuff has been going out at least once a week at this point.

Spoke too soon.

Just got an updated email from Vapage. The code HD49N now applies to a B1G1 offer on the Vmod kits. It's 50% off sorta kinda - but you have to buy two of them to get 50% off both.

In theory you can buy an XL and a 2.0 and get 50% off each. In practice that hasn't worked so great in the past. If you get any "does not apply..." error on the code then it means it will only work on two of the same kit - again. Don't bother trying to discuss "...but the e-mail says..." with customer service.

Code expires end of day 12/02.

Still not giving up nuttin' on the attys. lol

Rick, either or seems to work for me, tho I don't believe soap is necessary. Hot water will do the trick.

Dry it well tho, and watch out for little silicone thingies falling out if your water pressure's too high. I usually sort of cup the openings and let the water run minimally.

Got an e-mail update from Vapage this morning. The HD49N code and B1G1 sale on the Vmod kits has been extended through midnight tonight 12/03. This time though they seem to be making it more clear that you have to buy two of the exact same kit to get the half price deal. No mixing of an XL and a 2.0 allowed.

Hey all

Got my replacement XL chassis. Then I got a cold - so I put it all aside for a week. Waaa!

Got around to trying it tonight and I'm lost.

Washed it and dried it, cause I noticed a bit of oil of some sort in the metal chimney area.

Followed the Vapage instructions regarding assembly. I'm using the atty. Primed the atty with a good 6 drops of liquid. Followed the "tip, watch for two bubbles, un-tip and squeeze" bit.

And... I have a noisy setup that isn't producing vapor. :(

What's going on?

The atty is sure making a lot of atty-esque noise. Like what you would expect if it had liquid in there. And drawing on it is noisy too. Vapage instructions suggest if it's making a gurgling noise it's flooded. I don't know if it's what I'd call a gurgling noise. But it doesn't sound right either. Too noisy. Sorta half gurgly/half crackly?

Vapage instructions also state if it's flooded I should be cleaning up a leaky mess, with liquid all over the chassis and sucking on liquid. I'm not getting that. As it is, despite all the priming and (repeated) tipping then squeezing the atty looks way too dry for all the noise it's making.

Is it something I'm not understanding about how a Vmod squonks? Or is this some kind of breaking in phase the atty is going through? Or both?

Ick. Wanna vape.

.

There is a learning curve to using a gravity fed BF.

Hybrid atties will take a while to break in. I prime/feed from top for a few vapes before using the gravity fed "squonking".

You might also try to hold it tilted or more horizontal while squonking. Just angling the nose down a bit and lightly giving a little squeeze...listening for the gurgle. Some people even tip the nose down a bit. You will hear a "twerp!" and maybe see a puff come out of your drip tip, and you should hear a little gurgling as the juice goes into the atty chamber. If you do not hear this then don't hit the button as you may get a dry hit and ruin your atty.

I always held my Vmod at about a 45 degree angle when squonking, just lean it a little past horizontal an a very light squeeze and tap on the bottle.

When screwing in new bottle i always inverted, then looked for the bubbles. (Some people have used it vertically, but i find that doesn't work well on a gravity fed system, you would have to have a reo which is tube fed to use that way.)

If you run into a vapor lock, make sure the seal inside the area where you screw in the bottle is intact. Also put a piece of velcro behind the bottle to make it easier to squonk and keep the bottle from getting too flattened over time.

Also, if you over feed or flood, a long gentle squeeze while upright, then a slow release sucks the juice back down into the bottle so the the atomizer unclogs and vapes better.

Thanks Horsie!

The 45 degree thing works better - and seems to make more sense - than the Vapage instructions.

I also think I have a problem with this setup running thick VG through it. I seem to recall seeing a cutaway of the Vapage feed system and it just doesn't seem capable of handling the likes of TVR 100 VG - it's practically gloppy. I've thinned it by about 20% with h2o. It's feeding better, but at a big hit in flavor. Vapor production dropped as well.

Rick, it's basically just Tilt, squeeze, vape. It might help if you take off the entire top assembly and watch how the process happens, make sure that juice is actually coming up thru the atty connector. If that is happening, then juice is getting where it is supposed to go. If not, then post back and let us know.

That's why I suggest priiming the hybrid atty from the top first, and do that until you "get it going". For whatever reason, this often solves all the problems.

I don't think 100% VG is the problem, as that is all I have ever used. It was WHY I went to BF in first place, becasue vaping 100% VG in clearomizers was just coil clog city with all those silica wicks getting gunked up.
