He's right above you...
Yea, that was silly of me to imply that I didn't know that while actually expecting an answer shortly. Sorry.
Classifieds rules state you cannot list a product at more than 20% of it's retail value. Plus something like Kanthal is so readily available now, I don't know how much of a market there would be for it. I got a 200ft roll of 32 gauge that should probably last me 20 years if I'm careless with it.
I read the rules but I don't know what is meant by "retail" in this circumstance. Some vendors charge $2 for 10ft, others charge more, some charge less for larger quantities.

I read in a thread last night some guy saying he gets "wire" @ $6 for 100ft. I found a deal that cheap if I buy 1000ft for $60, but that would be crazy. I'm looking at 32g A1 Kanthal- 100ft for $17.50 shipped or 250ft for $26.50. I won't buy 250ft unless I can sell half of it, at cost would be OK with me.

If any of you know of a better deal, please chime in.:)

Did you get the 1/8 or 3/32, Chak? Sorry, I can't remember. Is the wicking all that it's made out to be, or is it a bunch of hype?

I plan on torching, then washing, then torching again before I use it. Should be enough right?

I think I torched and washed mine 3 or 4 times just to make sure. I got the lifetime 25 ft. of 1/8th inch. ;) Oh, and it wicks just fine. Can't really tell if it's better than just mesh, but certainly not any worse.

Ok, I'll add a cycle or two of torch and wash. Glad to know that it works, because I got 25ft of the 1/8 as well and 10ft of the 3/32.

The good thing is that the "manufacturer" is an hour north of the city if I EVER run out. ;)

LOL.. yeah! No wire rope delivered today. Did get my 10,400 mah external battery pack, and the rope lights for the gazebo came in as well. Kinda disappointed that the wire rope didn't show because I was hoping to experiment over the weekend with it. :(

I got some 1/8 and it was too big. And I drilled out the hole a wee bit bigger than 1/8. Don't wanna drill too much more and compromise center.

Nice trade. I love my ea. Really sturdy and I love the floating pin. Easy to clean. I want to get my hands on their new air flow control head.

*Don't expect much. I'm on Tapatalk.*

In case I'm wrong, I want to apologise, Dusty. I got the .094" cable. I believe it's 1/8", right? I didn't do the math to convert. :(

Sorry just did the math, .094 is 3/32 My bad....

Sorry, I posted this without checking first. So I checked and found out I'm wrong... I bought the: Stainless Steel 316 Wire Rope, 7x7 Strand Core, 0.094" Bare OD, 25' Length, 700 lbs Breaking Strength, to be exact.

Which is .094" = 3/32" in diameter.

Dusty, sorry if this misinformation caused you to purchase the wrong cable. :( I feel really crappy about that now.

Update: I noticed the new hemp wick was dry from lack of vapor, not from burning. Hemp wick was wrapped way too tight with Kanthal, but it still worked well even with 100% VG. Next time I'll use less wick or looser coil wrap.

Tried Huntsman for the first time ever tonight @ 19 days old, solid approval.

TEMCo Industrial Power Supply. I got 25ft of 29gauge for $2.80. Can get 100ft for about $8. shipping about $2.40

They have whatever thickness or length you want. Just check to make sure you're actually ordering A1 as they also carry A4.

I already failed at a coil. Bud coming over to teach..

What kind of coil are you making ? If it's an RBA, might I suggest the 'Micro-Coil for RBA' thread in the REOS section. I'm currently vaping on a twelve wrap w/ 29 gauge that meters 1.9 ohms. Slide some embroidery thread (100% cotton) and slap that Hornet onto a VVGrand filled with Legend ! Sweeeeet ! :vapor:

Excellent sir, thank you. I already ordered 100ft of 32 gauge from some guy on Amazon for $17 shipped which will be here before Friday. I ordered 100ft of 30 gauge A1 Kanthal from the site you listed for $6.50 shipped, but they quote a "build time" of 4 weeks. The 100ft rolls of 30g from TEMCo are the only selection that cheap, everything else is close to the price you listed.

That's crazy cheap, even with the 4 week "build time". This should be in the "Who wants to save $$$$$$ on vaping stuff" thread before TEMCo changes their mind.

Thanks Papaw!
