I am almost done buying from my list of stuff for the e-pocalypse. All I need now is nic base and a volt meter. Then I'll be loaded for bear. Well of course more juice never hurts. HHV juice that is...and Highbrow. And I could always drop and lose the screws from that Phoenix I suppose...never hurts to have a backup for your backups. It's always something isn't it? I do have a Lowe's gift card from Christmas that I haven't even spent yet...but Lowe's doesn't seem to have a good selection of volt meters that also check ohms. I have one at work...but I want one for home. I'll have to go to Lowe's later and check. I know I'm a chick...but I LOVE going to Lowe's!

I got 3 30ml bottles of Highbrow but didn't like them. If you’re interested in a trade of some kind hit me up with a PM. They aren’t doing me any good at the moment.

this might be a stupid question, but... what's the advantage of using a multi-meter to check your resistance over just using the function on my Vamo?

None. I use a multimeter when building hybrid mod coils as there is no 510 connection. For anything else I use the Provari (Vamo same thing) as it is far easier and just as or more accurate.

I would say its a bit safer and not sure if the VAMO has safety features but if your going for a low ohm coil it may not read. Now I am by far great at all that but the other day I tried on the provari and it kept reading a short. I had to put another wrap on it to have it read. I hear that's why mech mods are better for that cause there is no safety features. I am still a bit nervous to use the mech mod yet. But I'll get there. Guess that's what the meter is for.

Well I don't have a Vamo or ProVari and don't foresee one in my near future so I don't have a way to check my coils. And I am preparing for e-pocalypse or zombies (grin) and when your digital readout PV craps out or you drop it that function may not work. Just checking all my boxes off. And too, I'm not only stocking up for the FDA thing or prepaping for zombies, but I'm following the natural progression of e-cigs and experimenting now with rebuilding stuff. It's fun to learn new things about vaping.

I hate that you didn't enjoy Highbrow juice. I'm a very private person so a trade isn't gonna work for me. I know I know it's not very ECF-like but it's just who I am. ;)

Alright, I now have a multimeter on its way. And it's probably worth about what I paid for it...which is $12.47. Clearance at VaporKings. It was the exact same one I was looking at on the altsmoke website...just cheaper. It'll do. All this shopping is exhausting! Now I still need nic base and a bottle of VG...and I'm on the notify me list at Wizard Labs. WHEWWWWW! And for some reason I feel like sticking my little toe into DIY so I may pick up some flavoring when I order my nic base.
