You still doin' cartos Smitty?

Yeah I have a carto tank for the provari that is made for it and I don't wanna part with it. The vaperfexion pro-v2. And I heard about these cartos so I figured I would give them a shot. And man they are pretty sweet. I also had a thought that I would sell the provari if I got a dna20 mod bit I found a guy that does ceramic coating on mods and am thinking of maybe getting the provari done. Check this out.

On FB search OCD mods. Dude has some great looking mods that he's done. And he does just about anything. For me to send a provari and a Kayfun lite to him it would cost 89 dollars. But I am waiting till I find a cone that fits right till I proceed.

Close Chak. 30ga Kanthal, 10 wraps, 2.0 mm (5/64ths) inside diameter with 4 strands of 1.0 mm silica. I take a pair of 1mm strands and pull them through the coil with a fishtape made of kanthal wire... Sorry for the blurry picture. Double over a piece of Kanthal wire to use as a fishtape to feed your silica through your coil.
Thanks Bronze and Chak , the cotton did sort itself out after 15 hits or so I don't know why it took that long I soaked the coil and wick with juice before I reassembled and the coil wasn't brand new , it had 2 3mm strands of silica in it that I replaced with cotton , I'll stick with silica for now , I'm not in the mood to boil cotton .

Are you getting the stainless steel or black chrome Vamo? Both chromes will eventually wear off...however I use my black chrome daily and so far so good and I've had it a while now. Also, if you "like" Kidney Puncher you can hook up with some coupon codes (if they are still doing this that is). See this post:

Good job and I hope you enjoy your purchases!

You'll be set with that Daniel , only thing missing is replacement heads for the protanks you're getting but the Aspire's the better vape and the protanks take more experience to use with some pg/vg ratios, so you're good to go , pull the trigger man .

I'm getting the black chrome, hopefully it doesn't wear off and yes I'm using discount coupons on both the island vapor and kidney puncher sites, it's sucks kidney puncher doesn't have free shipping though like Island vapor

I had a Sigelei Zmax v5 that was black chrome. The finish will come off pretty quickly on the Vamo if they use the same process. I hope your mod doesn't wear as quickly as mine did. Thing works great, just doesn't look as good as when I first got it. I got my other one in stainless, looks the same as when I took it out of the box, with a few more scratches ;)

Hey everyone so I got my e juice today and my tanks from jwhorner6. I think he surprised me with a Genises tank also, only issue is that the dang thing won't unscrew or pop off so I'm stuck with trying to figure out how to do this View attachment 281543
Wait until one of the other members comes on to help you with the genny I can't open the photo to identify it , there's a possibility that you can break it if you disassemble it in the wrong way , don't quite think you're up to rebuilding yet anyway .

I may have been thinking 28g micro and 12 wraps…

Anyone rocking cotton wicks on their Kayfuns? I am considering it, but my only concern is how quickly the wicks go south... with silica, I can just dry burn and be done with it, but cotton is cheap and plentiful. :)

I'm using cotton for now, but have used silica as well. I've got that on one 32g micro that's reading about 2.5 ohm (bit high for my liking, but have to wait for my 28g & 30g to come in. The others are twisted 32g and a twisted 0.10 whatever (Russian unit of measure, metric?). Both those are coming in at 1.5 & 1.3 ohm.

I like to dry burn too, but cotton is cheap and easy enough to swap out. As for taste & vapor production, I kind of lean towards cotton. Just have to be careful not to empty the tank and try to take a hit. Burnt cotton does not taste good at all! And there is no cure for a burnt cotton wick, it has to be replaced!
