I use cotton yarn exclusively in my kayfuns. Tried silica and the flavor was too muted. I get about 5-6 refills with 1 wick.

Whoa, 5-6 refills! I usually have to change after 2-3 tanks. (Depending on the juice - NET.com maybe only 1 tank.)

I'm getting the black chrome, hopefully it doesn't wear off and yes I'm using discount coupons on both the island vapor and kidney puncher sites, it's sucks kidney puncher doesn't have free shipping though like Island vapor

Looks like you made some good choices there, Daniel. Hope you enjoy your new setup, I think you will. Let us know how it goes and don't be afraid to ask if you have any questions.

EDIT: PS I got the black chrome V2 VAMO and have not had any problems with the finish over the past year that I've used it. However, it usually stays at home because I use it with the 18650 extension - it's the longest mod I own.

Hey everyone so I got my e juice today and my tanks from jwhorner6. I think he surprised me with a Genises tank also, only issue is that the dang thing won't unscrew or pop off so I'm stuck with trying to figure out how to do this View attachment 281543

I'll echo Slim and say that does look like an AGA - the top cap has two O-rings holding it on. Wiggling, twisting and pulling is about all you can do to get it off. With the cap off you'll be able to see the deck where you set up the coil. No rush on getting into rebuilding - take your time getting to know your other stuff first.

I found rebuilding Protank & KayFun attys easier by a long shot. Genny tanks are so finicky - everything has to be just right on them.

Great thank you :) I tried out one of the new coils with the protank 2 on this inferno battery with Volcano e liquid and it tastes like garbage, I will tell you one thing though, I have the caps off of all my e liquid right now from hhv and it smells AMAZING!!! I took a very tiny dab of each one on my finger just to get a taste and they are all great, the cinful pear seemed the best tasting, the peppermint blast and blade both also tasted great. I was actually surprised at how much of a kick the peppermint blast has though. Glad I asked for extra flavoring

Peppermint Blast sounds intriguing, but it'll have to wait.

I just changed wicks and got 5 outta one and maybe 5 out if the other. Like you said all depending on juice.

Wow... Once a week is all I'll do. I just Don't have time to rebuild all the damn time. Same flavors in my tanks and as long as I don't have a dry hit all usually goes well.

Anyone rocking cotton wicks on their Kayfuns? I am considering it, but my only concern is how quickly the wicks go south... with silica, I can just dry burn and be done with it, but cotton is cheap and plentiful. :)
I just tried cotton in my KFC Leo and for some reason the first half tankful was harsh and I could definitely taste the cotton . I'm going back to silica , for me the flavor was cleaner . I'll retry the cotton at some point but it's gonna have to be boiled first , It's 100% pure organic cotton balls from CVS but maybe they use something to process or bleach it that they don't tell you about on the package . Did your KFC finally get delivered ?

Have you tried cotton yarn? I have bad experience with cotton balls in kayfuns but not in drippers.

Here is my switch (disassembled) on my Neme. I was a little surprised to see two springs. At first I thought it was broken but they are made of two different materials. I'm getting a little frustrated with this switch lately. Unless you depress it dead center it will bind and wont depress. Don't know if polishing will do the trick or not. Slim has some magnets on the way so hopeful for that. Is this what your Neme switches look like?

That's exactly what mine looks like general. You'll take both springs out and replace with opposing polarity magnets and put the rice pin back in :) no more chunky switch :)

Are you talking about the genny top cap? It is an aga t 2 so the top cap just pops off. Twist and pull and it should come off. And those other things are the coils for the protanks

I can't see your photos Bronze but they all do have 2 Springs. I have no idea why. I polished the actual button, the piece that the spring fits over. Also I make sure my screw... The one you can adjust to make your throw shorter, is always screwed the entire way in. No issues with a sticky button after that.

No idea why they need two springs either. But they do. Never drop that little pin unless you're under the age of 30 and do not require spectacles. :)

    Thanks Slim and JW! :)
