Just took a look at it quickly at work, it's a dripping atomizer?

It's the equivalent of a dripping atomizer but instead of dripping a few drops at a time there is a well that will hold about 15 drops. You should find a genuine Phoenix rba for around $10. GotVapes has them. They call them a Bully I believe. You'll eventually have to learn how to rebuild them (and get the supplies) but they are EZPZ to rebuild. They should come with a wick already assembled on the device so try it out first. It should last awhile and then you can pick up the supplies.

Ok, so I have two things left to buy, at that price it would be silly not to ;)

I agree. Too cheap to not try. And truthfully, I run into more people that still have the $10 RBA as their fave. I can say comfortably that I have not found anything that beats it as far as quality vape goes. And I just use silica wick.

Where yuh movin' to?

Just around the corner to my momma's house. With the wife closing her store we need some time to recoup and get in the game again. Gonna stay for about a year and then buy a house. Actually looking forward too it. Wait till they see the room I'm gonna need for all these damn juice bottles. Lol

So I got my device in the mail. Super happy. Feels heavy in the hand, feels well built, menu system is easy to use. It's pretty compact with my 18350s.

BUT

They sent me the wrong color :(

Wanted stainless steel. Debating on contacting the vendor or just dealing with it.

Honestly. I would contact vendor. You ordered stainless and you should have gotten stainless. JMHO. If they made a mistake no biggie. But you had your heart set in SS and you should have it.

Yeah. Spent 5 minutes staring at it then wrote an email. Hopefully they get back to me soon. Till then I'll be vaping on my new toy ;)

Right on. Stainless will last you a lot longer I would imagine.

Was that from vaportek? Last week I ordered a Sigelei Zmax v5 and they sent me a brass Sigelei 19 lol

I emailed them and they overnighted me the right product and emailed me a shipping label to send the 19 back, I still have to mail it back to them.....oops

Yup!! You're gonna love the zmax, my first mod so I don't really have anything to compare it to, but held a vamo v2 and v3, this thing feels waaaaay more substantial. If they tell me that they don't have it in stock I'll return it and order the zmax v5 from vapedojo.

This thing vaper awesome. Blowing clouds off of a carto tank! :D

Hey.. I didn't get any nibbles on the main post.. but can anyone answer my coil question? That is.... Does going with more wraps leads to a better vaping coil? Say... at the same resistance... would a higher wrap of a lower resistance wire come out with a better vape (better heat distribution, fewer chance of hot spots, allow for higher voltages and power without burning?)

Just another thought on this. The black version and the SS version of the v5 aren't the same. You would think its just a color change, but AFAIK the v5 is supposed to have a removable top cap. This black one doesn't. The SS version on vapedojo is selling with that in the description.

Unless vaportekusa is getting something else altogether. Vaping and confused

It was actually for my little brother but the very first mod I bought for myself was a ZMax. I loved it but after getting my provari I gave the ZMax to my dad :)

I'm not sure if the ss one I ordered had a remove able top cap or not. It did have a pretty cool cell phone charger though

LeoRex, the more wraps you put on the coil increases the amount of resistance. Where 4/5 wraps with 32 G wire might get you 1.8 - 2.3 ohms, 5/6 wraps night get you 2.5 - 2.6 ohms. With increased ohms one usually has to increase voltage &/or wattage to get an equivalent vape as they did previously on 1.8 - 2.3 ohm. The higher voltage usually produces a warmer vapor while LR attys cooler vapor. Some folks like using 3ohm and up I prefer the low end and cooler vapes. ;)

Hope that clears things up for you. ;)
