The anniversary mod is gonna have to wait as well. Almost a quarter of my check is going out to my daughter every month, to boot. She just moved out of her Aunt's house and into her own apartment! She has a good paying job and a roommate, however, Mrs. Chak still worries about her baby.

I build my coils daily now just because I want to practice and only own two tanks
It's an absolute waste of supplies but I feel at peace when I'm building..

Thanks man! Took me a few times to get used to working with that wire, stuf is thin. First few times i built it it lit red then burnt out at the bottom. The wire just disintegrated. finally got it working. I would have put DF in it, but I accidently left my bottle at work 40 miles away!

Am I hearing that sir bronze is getting a Kayfun lite? Man o man. I didn't quite believe all the hype. You hear it about every device out there. "Oh you gotta get this because the flavor is AMAZING" well sir much to my surprise the hype is justified. Especially for you liking bottom coil devices with the cooler vape. I had a few moments of awww hell but once you get the wick and coil dialed in to how you like the flavor is AMAZING. and it a device you can carry outside of the house without having to worry about it. I got an almost full 50ml of well steeped DF here that I am gonna have to try out in it. Oh and do yourself a favor and use cotton for wick.

I haven't experimented with cotton wicks because I'm scared I'll burn it. Can you give me the Coles notes version on using cotton? If you don't mind..
Well it's just like any other wick really just that you can't dry burn it. I bought cotton yarn from michaels. And I can't get flavor this rich from anything else. Basically I do my coil and thread the wick thru. When that wick is done I pull it out and dry burn COIL to get gunk off and then thread a new piece in. Saturate wick with juice and your in bidness. I am gonna try the cotton ball micro coil soon.

I did a 3/4 wrap and it ohms out at 1.1

Yeah Smit, I'm looking forward to it. Everyone tells me the flavor explodes in the Kayfun. I just hope it is close to a simple RBA. Just got the shipping notice. I'm planning on using cotton. Dust, just got to make sure it is 100% cotton with no lead in it (or whatever it is that is in some yarns). I'd read up on it before pulling the trigger. I just ordered some cotton wick from Carolina Vapes. They recommend boiling it for 20 minutes first just to ensure that any impurities are cooked out. Has anyone other than X tried ekowool in their Kayfun?
If you can build the Phoenix dripper then you can build the Kayfun lite. And it looks like the wick you ordered may be the same stuff as I bought from Michaels craft store. Peaches and Cream 100% cotton yarn. I hear Wally World sells it as well. If you just got shipping you should have by weeks end. I think that you will love it. I know I do.

I have no problem rebuilding anything to be honest with you. I've rebuilt attys that weren't meant to be rebuilt.
I just would like the flavor/feel of the Kayfun to come close to a Phoenix in terms of quality. I really need something that gives me the top shelf flavor with a larger capacity. The AGA fell short so I'm hoping the KF does the trick. It sure gets good press (and for $105 it better be good).FedEx says my Kayfun should be here by 10:30 am tomorrow.
