As a contrast to the rather craptastic o-rings on my new rda... the drip tips I got from FT are actually extremely good. I picked up a some SS 'Ming' style tips... 2 solid, 1 swivel (all SS), 1 swivel (plastic/plated AL)....
VERY high quality tips... the SS ones are pretty much dead on ringers for the ming that came on my RSST (heavy, solid)... which I like. And the SS swivel tip is quite good too. All have nice, tight seals on my stuff.

I got the $45 dollar Pila battery charger with it plus $46 to get it sent directly to Thailand, which is outrageous shipping! But as long as it gets here in one piece...

So a couple/few days into this SVD and I'm beginning to get a feel for it.
Pros: Threads are definitely smooth compared to the VAMO. The build construction is on par with the VAMO but I do like those operational etchings they put on the SVD. The overall looks I think is a little more attractive. Working the menu is also on par with the VAMO. I like the telescopic feature.
Cons: Two things. One, it's tall! I'll put in the shorter 18490 battery and it will be the same height as my VAMO with an 18650. Two, there is little separation between the buttons and LED screen. The raised screen, + and - buttons, and fire button are all bunched up toward the top of the device and I'm constantly pushing the wrong thing. I didn't have to look at the VAMO to find the fire button. I suppose I will adapt eventually but some separation would be nice. It has become abundantly obvious that you can not fire this device by pushing the LED screen. Perhaps a third con would be the battery indicator. The fire button changes colors (green to yellow to red) but you can't see it because your thumb is covering it. Just give me a readout like on the VAMO. But no biggie here.
Overall, it functions fine. I like this device. Compared to the VAMO...six of one, half dozen of the other. I just wish it weren't so dang tall!!! Not good for travelling about.

Yeah.... took me a little bit to not get all freaked out about pushing the power above 10 w.... Coming from clearos, that would spell doom (not to mention I'd most likely have to swap out a fried coil)... But with those big ol' microcoils, they keep vaping nice as long as their is juice to vaporize.
I used to sit at 8/8.5... since I've gone all RDA/micros, I am at anywhere from 8 watts (if I want a cool, light vape) all the way to 13 watts (if I want something a bit more lively).
I like the options.
Picked it up at create e CIG in Houston. They had a couple there but I wasn't sure of the brand and honestly once i put it on it was all mine. Next time I go( week or two ) I'll check and get one if you want. Was 30$ though plus *gasp* tax. Let me know.I like that tip a lot! Here are mine

It does make a difference. Sub ohms on 26AWG is a lot cooler than the same resistance on 32AWG. Power does not equate to heat and this is a perfect example.

X, 26ga Vs 32ga coils built to have identical resistance. Isn't the total volume/weight of each build the same? Or is resistance non-linear/non-proportional?
The 26g coil will be HUGE compared to the 32g... A 1.8 ohm 32g coil would be around, say, 5 wraps for something like an Evod coil (1.5 mm ID).
With 26g, the same 1.8 ohm coil would be close to 20 wraps... considering the 26 is twice the width as 32, that coil would be look like a automotive suspension spring compared to the 32.
Well, that's EZ to figure out. I'm asking if resistance is a function of mass only or if geometry (diameter of the wire) skews the curve.
Ex: if I have an ounce of 26 ga and an ounce of 32 ga will the resistance be the same provided it is the same material?

Mass is only a factor in an indirect sense (thicker wire, per unit length, will obviously have more mass). If you are looking at the same material, the thickness is pretty much the most important factor. I'd calculate the exact difference, but the Sox are on and I'm lazy.
If by "mass" you mean weight, then no, it has nothing to do with resistance. If you mean physical volume, it is connected, but the geometry of the wire is what creates the resistance. It's like a hose. The greater the circumference, the less resistance. The greater the length, the more resistance.
If you take a meter of wire, it will have a certain weight (x) and a certain resistance (y). If you take the same piece of wire and fold it on itself and twist it, you have the same mass (x) but half the resistance (y/2).
