That is pretty Xfoo , just curious do the different Kayfun form factors vape differently or do they pretty much have the same chamber dimensions ?

The KFM is smaller in every way (except for the height). The atty deck is tiny, but surprisingly you can set up a great vape with the same ease as the full size KF. The performance is identical. Very nice if you want to put it on an eGo battery. It is pretty tall, so I like it on 14500 mechs best. The only thing smaller would be a 650 mAh eGo but you'd have to contend with a regulated 3.5 volt output. A twist (or Spinner) gives a lot of added height. The KFM comes with an extension tank to put it in "long mode", but that's just silly looking (as Chak mentioned before). It can also be used as a dripper by removing the chimney and using only the bottom tank section. Pretty versatile. It took two days for it to arrive from intaste and cost a little more than the KFL. I don't know how those guys do it. FedEx international isn't cheap.

Right Retic, it's just a difference in size, you get the same great vape in a smaller formfactor. On a 900 mAh Spinner it looks pretty sharp too and about the same length as the Provari.

Just for fun, I'd like to get the extension kit for the KayFun Lite - the long M tube with two extension pieces for the chimney.

Chak I was looking at the Kayfun product descriptions on Cloud 9 and was trying to figure out the price difference between the 3.1 es and the lite plus , same features ie airflow control , but proprietary drip tip on the 3.1 es it comes with an adapter for 510 tips only real difference I can see , same juice capacity as well , some guy on FT forum said he has 9 genuine kayfuns including 3.1 es , lites and lite plusses as well as the cloned version of the 3.1 es and parts were interchangeable between all of them , the main reason I want to know is if I order the spare parts kit and large tank because I'm thinking about a lite clone too .

Bronze I remembered that you use silica in your kayfuns , I got this clone set up with a microcoil and cotton wick and I'm finding that this atty amplifies the flavor of everything including the cotton and I'm not liking it , I didn't taste it with the protanks but I sure can taste it now so I'll probably go back to silica , I was wondering what size wick and configuration you use ?

I believe he uses a 5/64 drill and 12 wrap micro coil then 4 strands of 1mm silica.

Close Chak. 30ga Kanthal, 10 wraps, 2.0 mm (5/64ths) inside diameter with 4 strands of 1.0 mm silica. I take a pair of 1mm strands and pull them through the coil with a fishtape made of kanthal wire...

Sorry for the blurry picture. Double over a piece of Kanthal wire to use as a fishtape to feed your silica through your coil.

Anyone rocking cotton wicks on their Kayfuns? I am considering it, but my only concern is how quickly the wicks go south... with silica, I can just dry burn and be done with it, but cotton is cheap and plentiful. :)

Only organic cotton here in micro-coils. I usually swap out the cotton every couple days. It does not always need changing, but I do it anyway. It takes a couple minutes to do..

You and Dust pegged it. Cotton is easy to change out. Silica can be dry burned. Six of one, half dozen of the other.
