I find on the head scratchers you should just start all over. Take everything apart, clean it, inspect it for orings missing or damaged, recoil, rewick, make sure everything is snugged up, blah, blah, blah. You get the picture.

Yeah... I'll be using my 350s for the time being until I get some 500s.... Wish I could find a B&M that sold these things... ordering stuff is a royal pain in the ..... I'm impatient and don't like to wait.

I've only gotten priming issues when my wick is getting fouled and needs a change. The only other time I had a problem was when went a little too heavy on the cotton and the little chambers were a little too clogged. I have enough cotton to drop down and run across the botton deck... and before I close the chimney, I make sure that the wick clears both channels as cotton will expand as it saturates.
If you are barely touching the deck with the wick, it might be a case of not having enough wick. I just followed the little suggestion in SM's KF 3.1 manual... works well.
been testing an idea on the HC3.1.... seeing how long it takes to get the flavor to poop out before changing wicks.... so far 7 tankfuls of Legend 100VG and still doing well... Retic knows how to build a coil/wick!!
I keep on getting dry hits and the ohms seem a tad low what wrong with my coil???
You pulled that setup out of the R91% ? That was the result of 8 or 9 builds in that atty before settling on that one for best results , it's not the same coil I was using but it's identical to the winner of that trial , I'm using the same setup in both 3.1's too .
When something that has been working well, suddenly starts giving you grief, then I would imagine that it is..
When I get to that point I just start all over from scratch. It's maddening and I feel sorry for Bridget. She's probably ready to punt that thing.

Yep, I want to throw it and stomp it. It's not the juice. DF is doing it in the KFL. 45 min on elliptical for frustration. Shower next, then fiddling.

yup thats the one... now if I can reproduce it... Im starting to get some oddish flavors in the 3.1 after 7.5 tanks of Legend....
I cut the wicks a little longer, so there's more on the deck (as Leo suggested). I also just used 3 of the 4 strands of P&C. This is on the KFM, same 2mm coil. I left the KFL as is for now. No sense in screwing up both tanks at once.
