I do 10 wraps with 2.0mm (5/64ths) inside diameter, 30 ga and it gives me 2.0 ohms. Gonna be hard to get to 2.0 ohms with 28 ga.

I'll just start with a 1/8th bit, try 10 wraps and go from there. She didn't specify diameter, though from some of her posts in REOVille I gather she is quite elderly. I don't think she would object to a slightly larger diameter, the only spec she requested was 2.0 ohms.

(and I like the reason for deleting your previous post  you're in good company)

Does she want you to wick them too?

I haven't used my Grand in about a year, because I'm debating selling it, but can't bring myself to do it..

Don't do it. I've bought and sold a lot of mods over the time and the only one I regret getting rid of is my reo Grand. I'm going to get another one but am trying to wait for the woody sale and see if I can score

(goverment always gotta mess up a good thing) maybe with my taxes ill look into the bigger badder machines

Quality Mods, like REOS and ProVari are built better than most cheaper mods. I own 4 REOS for ease of use and durability, others choose the ProVari for it's features and performance. There are several quality Personal Vaporizer (PV) out on the market.
I notice you just joined ECF, and if you are relatively new to Vaping might I suggest that you hold off on spending $$$$ for Mods and instead look for E-Liquid Vendors you like. I'm not bragging, and I don't mean to discourage you, but; I have two REOS VV Grand at home, and two REOS Mini's for at work/ out and about. Each has it's own RM2 rebuildable atomizer. That's $900 in equipment, not counting batteries, chargers, several eGo Twists, Cartos, Clearos, atty's- It can Get REAL Expensive ! Nothing would suck worse than having $1000 of equipment just sitting on a shelf six months from now.
Take your time, papapit. Find the e-liquids you enjoy, and do your research before buying the more expensive PV's.
Just my :2c:

:) Damn right.... spend money, first and foremost, on good juice! Equipment is overrated. If you have crappy juice, even the most fancy pants mods and atomizers isn't going to make it any good.

my go-to is a $20 Kayfun 3.1 clone sitting on a busted up looking Vamo V3.... thing vapes awesome. But that is mostly due to the fact that is is loaded with Cinful Apple.

Leo that 21 dollar FT 3.1 is probably the besr bargain piece of gear out there , especially if you replace the crap screws that come with it . I pulled the AFC grub screw on mine and it was coated in rust , plated zinc garbage , I also replaced the post screws and added ss nuts to make catching the wire a lot easier , the AFC grub screw is m3 x 5mm , the post screws are M1.6 x 3mm , 4mm is too long you can't tighten them on the positive block without causing damage , this place has everything you need . M31628 - M1.6X3 Slotted Cheese Head Machine Screw Stainless Steel A2 DIN84A

Little bit of vape mail today from fb buy. Great price for Bella tanks which I always wanted when I was using cartos exclusively.
    Cartos > clearos....

Brett, I've got a 3mm micro in my KFMini; 5/6 wrap with 30g gives me 2.3ohms. Works fine with silica or cotton. BTW, the Mini is in dripping mode - pics to follow... :D

I got a replacement kit coming in the mail, along with a second KFC (with the replaced bits). I haven't pulled my coil since I first loaded it up, so I have no idea what state those screws are in.

I gotta agree though. Since I got that KFC, my RDAs have been gathering a little bit of dust. The second one also has a kick, so I'll be loading that on my K100 (set it and forget it kind of thing).... These things are great... hold a ton of juice and the vape is top notch. Not that this is a surprise I guess, it is a $20 copy of the best atomizer on the market. Glad I got it. I would have never dropped the money for an original... no matter how good it was, it was WAY out of my price range as far as vape gear is concerned.

Leo the replacement parts that RJ & I both got did not contain screws just the positive block , center post and contact pin , you can check you're afc screw without disturbing your build .

I've been thinking about this screw thing with the FT 3.1 and can't make any sense of it . If I can buy stainless screws at 10 cents a piece , bulk wholesale is probably 2-3 cents a piece . They went through the trouble of machining the whole atty out of stainless and they did a pretty good job of it only to screw it up for want of less than 10 cents worth of screws , it makes no sense at all , charge another dollar and it's still the best bargain available .

Leo we sound a lot alike. I've got a $21 SS KFC on a banged up black chrome Vamo. The Vamo is well over a year old and has been dropped three times on concrete and once the other day on my kitchen tile which cracked the display and made one of the pieces a little wonky but I forced it back straight again. I've bought a lot of stuff...but nothing high end. I can't justify it for me and I'm too cheap anyway.  But I vape my brains out for sure! The KFC is growing on me...and I am very happy about the price...makes me like it even more. :)

That few cents is enough, this is China we're talking about.

They went through the trouble of replacing brass parts with stainless steel parts for free , now the entire atty is made out of stainless , if they had done it right the first time they would've saved themselves a lot of money throw shipping in and it gets to be a stupid amount of money , it makes no sense , the chinese aren't stupid .

My insinuation was they are notoriously frugal not stupid ;)

Say they are a nickel per, there are 5 screws so they can save 20+- cents per unit. That adds up when your producing thousands of units, of course they should be stainless but once you purchase 100,000 screws you have to use them.

Funny thing is they probably bought 100,000 "stainless" screws from another Chinese manufacturer :)
