Well I did try it for a few hits with Legend. The tobacco was more up front and about the only thing I could taste. It was also very dry tasting. Not something I'd want to do all the time.

More than I thought. The batteries were low when I tried it. Starting with 2 fresh sets today so I'm going to play with it in volts and see how it goes on the 1.5 coil I have in.

I generally use voltage when stacking batteries and wattage when using a single.

I'm stacked right now vaping 4.8v on my little Smok RDA @ 1.5 ohms, vaping like a champ.

This gives a similar vape to my Magneto with Atomic @ 0.86 ohms, of course straight DC gives a smoother vape though.

I know what you mean. I have a A7 RBA @ 0.8 ohms on a Magneto. I use it at night and in the morning. I like it a lot.

Yeah, you gotta set up right to pull off 20+ watts...lots of airflow and plenty of well-made wicks without choke points. Not all attys are made for this sort of vaping!

I did some adding and it looks like you could build either a duel or single 18650 for about $150. did you check out the clamp and screen cradle that will fit in almost whatever you want? Opens up a lot of possibilities for a diy mod.

I just put a 5/64 dia. 0.5mm x 0.1mm ribbon coil with 4/5 wraps at 1.3ohm and cotton in the KFL. Didn't preheat the ribbon so the first quarter tank was just ok. Then It started hitting. I don't think Serendipity ever tasted this good. And it's what I had in it yesterday. I may have to play around with ribbon wire a little more.

Well... after seeing them at Vapebash I just had to acquire a Hana Mini Mod and this morning I scored. I do however plan to sell my Provari Minis and some Bulli Drip tips so should cover the cost. It's such a cute little mod just couldn't pass it up. I got a DNA 30 which is more than I'll ever use but wanted to find a mint unit. For me, it will function like my provaris just in a smaller form and much lighter.

Hmmmm. I've never heard of a Hana mod. Just shows I'm out of touch. But congrats on the find. You shouldn't have any trouble selling your Provari Minis. Those usually get snatched up quickly.

For those using cotton. How often do you change it? Or maybe the question should be when do you know it needs changed? The way this KFL is working I'm thinking of retiring my RBA and building my KFL with the nano kit for Sludge. Dang First one KFL now two and I'm thinking of getting number three. This forum is a bad influence.

David I can get about 2 tanks through the KFL before I change wicks, but it really depends on how gunky the juice is.

I'll be getting another KFL soon too, and my nano kit is on the way..
