On the juice bit I was the same way. Wanted something that tasted like a Marlboro. I think Dark Horse and Huntsman are a great fit. They are my go to juices when I want a "Marlboro" taste. Ego's are great devices. I still use 3 of em.

And X you really like those evods huh? Better than T3's? I been eyeballing them.

The Evod is better than the T3 but they behave quite similarly. I get less gurgling in the Evod and the heads are waaaay easier to rebuild if you want to make your own coils. The colored tank, fit and finish (no knurling), and shorter form factor make it a better device. The upcoming Kanger ProTank looks to be a contender as it has a glass tank and is compatible with non ego devices but it will be twice the cost of the Evod.

Did an easy mod on the Natural. sanded the plating off all the contacts, down to the brass. Strong!

Have you tested your voltage loss under load? I'd be curious how it performs now that you have exposed the brass contacts. Is the button contact brass too?

Sigelei has a new mech mod called the Natural too. There's a coop starting out for it. Nice looking for $25. Flat top, bottom side button and the vendor has confirmed that the new models will have brass contacts.

That Sigelei looks nice, I already signed up :) I haven't tested this thing since I sanded the parts (the only thing I didn't was the button itself, hard to get that nut off. I may try again another day. All the other contacts appear to be brass). There are others who have tho, in this thread:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/apv-discussion/368894-smoktech-natural-new-mechanical-device-24.html

Here's what one of the contacts looks like sanded:

Also hit my AGA with some sandpaper to make it match the mod better

My AC9 atty just showed up today, and I'm very frustrated. Not from setting up the wick and coil, which actually went relatively well (though I need some thicker gauge wire to compensate for the mammoth wick hole on this beast).

I just cannot get the thing to screw down onto my Natural or my EA Mod. The Natural doesn't surprise me; no atty worth more than $25 ever wants to screw onto it. But I was planning on perching it on top of the EA. It screws down just fine onto the Provari and the GGs, though.

Grrr.

Seems like that tap & die that Z mentioned might be the "trick" for you, no?

Hey Ice, is it a noticeable difference? I heard someone say to do that but haven't till I heard if it was worth doing.

Disregard I read thru the following posts. Lemme know how it is

That shouldn't be the case. A 510 connector is a 510 connector. The EA is machined very well. You should email Vapinaze. It may just be the positive pin on the AC9 needs a tiny bit of sanding.

It seems pretty noticeable to me, the vape seems stronger throughout the battery life. Then again, I can't prove it. There's a fellow on the Natural thread that says he got a 3 watt boost over the life of the battery charge. That sounds significant, and my own experience, subjective as it is, seems to bear that out. It sure didn't hurt, and that's a fact.

The height/depth of the positive pin of the AC9 is completely adjustable, if in fact that is the issue. I have had to adjust this for contact on my GP Paps but the AC9 has fit everything just fine as far as threads go. Maybe just slowly thread it in and out a few times going a little deeper each time (tapping)?

It hits REALLY hard compared to other genny's BTW.

Right on. I will sand my heart out tomorrow.

That looks sweet. VV, VW, telescopic. Price appears to be for a kit with iclears and a drip tip, etc. Wonder if they'll sell it tube only?

That I don't know about yet - haven't seen any sold separately, although I have heard the iClear 30's will be/are sold separately.

Yes, this is the kit and comes with everything except batteries, charger and juice. Something to think about, however, is that the iClear 30 does not accept standard 510 drip tips - it can only be used with the rotating knuckle-head tip, because it screws into the cap of the tank (complete with O-ring for a snug fit). Another thing is that in 18650 long tube mode it is one long Mother :censored: PV! Longer than the Vamo by what looks like half an inch or more from what I've seen on the videos.

Reviewers have been saying that isn't much of an issue for them, however, YPMV. (P = preference)

I saw the SVD when I went to VapeRev the other day. It is ENORMOUS! If you think the Vamo looks too big with an 18650 in it, the SVD is NOT the thing you want. The model I looked at was not the final production model as it was explained to me that Innokin will be making changes. The screen placement and button placement should be considered as well. Since the screen lays vertically, it will appear upside-down depending on how you hold it. It was well built and machining was better than most anything coming from China these days. The iClear clearos looked like they blew serious clouds.
