Darn it, Bronze! You just shattered my gear contentment bubble.

Lori, I don't think there is a need for you to break out of your gear contentment bubble. I honestly do not think you will discover a noticeable difference in vape quality between your Magma's and the Veritas. Or the Plume Veil or Viking either for that matter. All four incorporate the same airflow concepts. I've seen just about every review there is and they'll all say the one they are vaping on is the best dripper there is. All depends on which one they have in their hand at the moment. I'd bet my life there isn't a gnat'sass difference in vape quality between the four. I was lured to the Veritas because of its leak-resistant design because I hate leakers. But as retic points out if you keep the Magma upright and seal the air hole during travel it wont leak either. I'm guessing it is harder to make the Veritas leak if you're a clod like me but that would be the only advantage with the Veritas. If you're happy with your Magmas then I'd stay with them because the vape quality is highly likely to be on par with the Veritas. Save the Veritas for when you are out of your bubble.

BTW Bronze , a longer driptip is also a big help in cooling off the vape , it definitely makes it more pleasant .

Yes, and I don't think I have one. But then I think I might. If I do, it's buried in my bone box somewhere. I don't know the half of what I have in my bone box.

Yup , I think Vermiform has 5 Magmas and I know Dusty has three and I'll be grabbing the Big version from FT soon , LA has 2 or 3 Magmas and BK has 5 or 6 different RDA's , it does add up .

It would be cheaper if everyone had just one favorite flavor.

Kinda reminds me of fishing lures. If you find one that works, you have to get one in every color, pattern, size...and have backups for each one.

Not sure there is anything better in terms of vape performance and convenience than the KFLs.

Well, the leaking is a big thing for me. I spent too many days messing with leakers. I accepted it because everything leaked and I didn't have a choice. Enter the Kayfun! That ended my days messing with leakers. I still use drippers but try to remember to keep them upright and try not to knock them over. I feel like I can safely lay this Veritas on its side and have it not leak. But again, you fill it too much and it will leak like any other dripper.

Yeah David, I sorta lied. But not too much. I'm buying cheap clones so it's not breaking the bank. April wants to look at some drippers so I'm helping her. I've done all this research so I don't want it to get old and out of date again. Takes a lot of time to research the latest and greatest, yuh know?

I don't think you're going to be able to eliminate the spray altogether LA , the reason it seems to happen when it gets low is the quantity of vapor that's passed through the RDA , water vapor equals condensation , the Veritas won't be immune to that but hopefully it lines up differently for you , now if ya wanna see a real spitter try an Igo-W or any dripper that has the airflow from the side lined up with the coil , you gotta be mindful of those holes and make sure they ain't lined up with your face while vaping .

Makes sense. And ouch! One more reason on a list of many to not get an Igo-W!

I'm just making sure to use the Magma that lines up with the airflow hole well away from the firing button on the ZNA. The other can be dedicated to the Stingray. It will be interesting to see if the Veritas has a shorter 510 connector. I hope so. That would be one minor nuisance eliminated.

BTW - your analysis of the Stingray's button issue was fascinating. Mine has the opposite problem - it tends to loosen. I never would have been able to isolate the issue like you did.

I'm pretty sure you would have figured it out , I'm not as mechanically inclined as BK but determination helps , I do foresee one issue down the road with any copper or X model stingray , when you snug the switch up to adjust for battery length it places a load on the rice pin and the copper gives way and deforms because the rice pin is steel and harder than the copper , it's already caused a tiny amount of slop in the button so I have to resist the tendency to cinch it down , PITA , but nothings perfect except a Panzer of course .

Yup the 26650 is an equaliser but it is a heavy monster for out and about , there's supposed to be new battery technology right around the corner that might level the field again , I intend to pick up a higher power regulated device but I like mechs for the aesthetics and simplicity so a couple more won't hurt , I do wish I hadn't handled that copper Panzer though , it ain't often that my expectations are far exceeded and nothing but a string of obscenities and buying one is gonna help .
