Got my order yesterday:
Flue Cured
Island Tobacco
French Pipe
Black Cigar
Real Cig
Blueberry
Mixed them all up as soon as I got home and couldn't wait for steeping so I tried them all out right away. All I can say is WOW! This is exactly what I've been looking for for years!
I mixed them at 20 drops per 20ml and most were way too strong. I cut them all way down - some to only 5 drops per 20ml.
I used to love the Halo juices before I started DIY'ing, but didn't care for the strong after taste they had - I think the VZ tobaccos I got are very similar to Halo, but minus the nasty after taste.
I'm not much for fruity flavors, but the blueberry is really good. Best fruity flavor I've ever mixed. No perfume after taste at all and tastes just like a fresh blueberry.
The Real Cig I would describe as not really tasting like a real cig, but the best RY4 I've ever had - full bodied, kinda sweet with just a little bit of that "ashtray" taste lurking underneath.
I swear the Island Tobacco tastes just like Halo's Tiki Juice, but I need some more time with it. In fact I need more time with all of them before I comment any more.
All I can say is "Way to go, vaping Zone!"
So what do you all do when you want to add another flavor to the mix that isn't SC?
Pardon my ignorance but I'm new to this. I have about 4 bottles of SC and 4 bottles of normal flavorings.
Let's say I wanted to make a 5mL bottle of juice with Captain (SC) and banana (regular) flavoring.
I know a lot of it is trial and error but just curious how you folks would go about it.
2.5% of 5mL is .125mL
Where I get overwhelmed is now how much do I put in of regular concentrated flavor? Do I gauge that amount off the recommended "20% flavoring"? Then would I divide it half or 1/4 it since I'm doing a two flavor mix?
I have no idea what I'm doing! haha

I am newbie, but I dont think you are far off--- if I am using a SC or FA consentrate as the main flavor lets say a FlavorArt tobacco I add in 2%, if I want hints of blueberry I would add in 8-10% of TFA blueberry.
That is at least how I have done it a few times so far and it seems to work good
Since I was SOOOO impressed with the 6 flavors I just got yesterday, I made another small order today!

Can someone tell me what the difference is between the SC and SC Gourmet flavors (besides the Gourmet flavors are apparently even more concentrated)?
Also, does anyone have any idea what "Oak Bark" tastes like and why the heck I would want to vape it???

I have tried a lot of different attys, cartos, RBAs, genesis - and absolutely nothing compares to the Igo-L I just got the other day. Simply outstanding for a $13 RBA.
Brought some of my newly mixed VZ SC juices to work today and a friend stuck some in his Protank - I couldn't hardly taste anything out of it while the same flavor in my little Igo was almost overpowering.
Just to derail for a second....lol. I have been using ss mesh wick and aga-t for quite a while now. Did not figure any reason to change real satisfied with preformance and taste. Man was I wrong....tried a couple of bottom coil T3 kangers from vz these things are amazing. Have not touched my aga-t in days now
Its a different line of pg super concentrated flavors. Very...very concentrated mixing at 1% flavor. Just more choices....never gets easy choosing from so many flavor choices. If you like the results of the alcohol based line I am sure you will like this line of flavors too
Ha! A good reason for me not to try a genesis any time soon. You should try the evods and pro tank as well they are awesome.
What I do ..... mix each flavor single and combine the mixed bottles. Maybe not the way of an expert but it keeps me at the total flavor percent I want to end up with

You almost have to do it this way if the percentage required is significantly more than the SC's. Make sure you ascertain what percentage you like the banana at as a stand alone before you do any combining. Banana can overpower an entire recipe and it might be much lower than 20%. Regardless of where the banana tastes right to you (that sounds well just wrong...lol) the next consideration is how much banana do you want in that Old Captain? Do you want a banana with a touch of old captain or vice versa?
One of my new favorites is VZ Blabkberry with a few drops of Koolada. Great stuff!
My first batches have been tested:
The gourmet White Peach is good enough to be a stand alone flavor, so fresh and real tasting. I mixed at 1% and it's a bit high. The only artificialness is the lingering taste in my throat because I overdid it.
The gourmet vanilla is whatever. Nothing special, not bad, but nothing like real vanilla or store bought vanillas (which aren't either)
I think the Yuco is cool but just not my cup of tea. Definitely mixable though with something else.
These were small batches left steeping for a week and a half, i've mixed my first 30ml batch of Vanilla Peach (little lighter on the peach than my first experiment) and will let you know how it turns out!

I have tried about 25 different VZ Sc's and find most of them week. I mix 555 alcohol base at 25% and let steep at least 2 months. I mix 30-60ml in a 120ml bottle for the excess air in order to allow evaporation of the lung killing alcohol and often leave the cap off overnight. Even at this %, I still can't achieve the flavor fullness of something like a Dekang tab all VG.
For the most part I like VZ's flavors, but find them no more concentrated than any of the major flavor manufacturers.
