as of 8:18PM 2 left in stock at Perfection vapes, I just grabbed one. I checked with Chris at Perfection and they are dna 20 which is fine for me.
I ordered one at midnight when it went live. Can't wait for it. dna 20 will be fine for me. I just wonder if the boards are serialized like the 30's.

Well i gave in and got one! Got lucky and grabbed one in stock at electronicstix. I figured if i don't like it i can easily sell it for what i paid without a problem.

What i am very curious in doing is getting a good look at the top cap and seeing if i can modify it somehow so that the center pin is adjustable or at least adjust it to where everything i own sits flush, Thats IF i like it and decide to keep it.

I owned a Z2 Medius when they first came out ( sold it though ). I was pretty quick to find a way to modify it to stop the battery rattle/gap and also modify the center pin on that,So maybe i can do the same with the ZNA.

I will repot back sometime next week once it arrives if any ideas come to mind.

Zen is working on an adjustable version. I hoped it would be free to those of us that bought the Zen, but it won't.

Sweet man! It's cool that they have them. And yeah, a DNA20 is good for most things. I really don't need a DNA30. I hardly ever use my Vaporshark DNA20 over about 15 watts anyway.

Haha same here. I might need more than 20 if I was doing quad coils or something, but I'm usually in the 14-18W range

I would HOPE that if a future top cap was released that it would be free or either discounted to those who purchased the ZNA but i doubt it also. With that said, I can only imagine the price on the top cap. Buying a 2nd top cap would leave the original top cap useless which would mean, Even more money spent.

If i end up liking it i plan on picking up a 18650 tube and if a adjustable top cap was available down the line, it would be 30-50.00, Which would put the device ( well mine anyways ) with a 18650 tube almost 400 dollars.. Which is insane.

I sure hope that whatever he comes out with is a simple/cheap drop in to the original top cap and not a separate/full priced top cap because that would be such a waste of money and metal.

Hopefully i come up with something that is simple or just requires a simple replacement of the center pin/screw which won't make the top cap useless

How low a resistance coil can you fire on the Vaporshark?

Where did you get the clone 3D? Sounds interesting...

My preferred coil is a microcoil at about 1.5 ohms in bottom feeders and drippers. Usually try for about 2.0 ohms in genesis style atomizers. Not a cloud chaser. I have used it as low as 0.8 ohms though. It works well. Got the 3D clone at Vaping Tech. They don't carry a lot of stuff but what they have, when they have it is good stuff.

Heh. I bought my Z2 Carto Hybird 18650 in Gun Metal for the express purpose of using the ZNA 510 top cap with it if I wanted to. I've put a bunch of devices on the 18650 tube both with and without a kick (if using the kick I put an 18490 in it). If you just use the 18650 I can get every device I have to flush up tight. If I use the kick and the 18490 there may be a very, very tiny gap depending on the device and how adjustable its center post is. The picture below is with a kayfun that has a very long center post even when the post is screwed all the way in. It sticks out quite a lot. As you can see the thing sits pretty flush with the kick and 18490 in the GM Z2 tube. There is no way I'd sell the ZNA because the 510 top cap isn't perfect. Heck, two-thirds of vaping is about dicking around with stuff for me. I dig the challenge! And besides, the ZNA is a fantastic device. Not being fanatical here, just my opinion based on using it for a while now. Almost all of the "gap" problems can be easily remedied using another screw for the center post in the 510 top cap. Get a brass screw with the correct threads. Cut it to the length you need. The only reason I haven't done that is I'm too lazy to go to Home Depot and get one. It's not like this is some glaring mechanical or electrical flaw. I mean come on, it's a simple screw, nothing more.

I finally got my ZNA LDE back from repairs today, and all I can say is WOW! What a world of difference so far! The 510 gap issue has been addressed, the bottom cap has been replaced, the threads have been smoothed out, the buttons have been repaired, and all in all it is AWESOME! Fit and finish is beautiful. The only nit picky thing I can say is the battery cap is now just a hair too long, and extends past the base of the ZNA ever so slightly (this I can live with), but it's now much better than too short and having it lean over when I set it down.

It looks amazing with an 18650 Rose Gold tube and Ionizer drip tip on it. Not an exact match for the LDE Bronze, but very close. Now all I have to do is find a topper in Rose Gold, Bronze, or Gunmetal and I'm all set, until then, I'm waiting for my Nautilus to arrive, hopefully it will look okay on top.

Zen has made it clear, he really values his customers and stands behind his products! He even sent a couple of goodies back with the ZNA! I strongly urge anyone having issues with their ZNA to call and let him know, I have no doubt he will make it right! Would I buy another Zen product? ABSOLUTELY!!!

2014 Vape Budget officially exceeded already, but well worth every penny spent!

I'll try and get some pics up in the next couple of days ...

I've given up on getting one. I'm not camping on a website. When their production catches up, I'll consider it again. In the meantime my Spire have actually filled my needs pretty well, and I don't subohm, so I am rethinking the purchase all together. Looks like a really nice and unique design until China rips it off. Stay tuned.
