Last night I was at the Black Keys concert in Philly, and this is the first concert I have been to since I have become a full time vaper.

For anyone who has been to a concert/sporting event recently, the new trend in smoking areas is a little fenced in area where all the smokers run to between sets, innings, or whatever to get their fix. Standing shoulder to shoulder out in the freezing cold sucking down cigarettes as fast as they can so they don't miss the show.

Last night, for me, was different. Instead of being in the flock of sheep rushing toward the smoking area at every opportunity - I was happily vaping away the entire time.

What a pleasant experience.

Interesting story. If I were an ecig vendor, I would set up a stand next to that smoking area.

I personally think your on to something there i have yet to see that anywhere here in my area.

That sort of setup would require all the venues explicitly allowing the use of e-cigs indoors, which I doubt any are willing to do.

My (least) favorite is the Warehouse in Houston. They confiscate all lighters at the door. Once you're in the smoking area, the bouncers will light a couple smokes for people and then it's a rush for everyone to 'jump start' their cig.

Actually....The electric factory in Philadelphia does allow vaping. I got busted stealth vaping last time I was there and he told me not to try to hide it....so they(security) could tell it wasn't a cigarette....I even saw two other guys vaping what looked like riva's....

I've also vaped at Citizens Bank Park. When they came over to tell me not to smoke...I showed them, told them what it was, and asked them if I could use it...they said yes....as long as it's not a cigarette.

Wow thats awesome. The Black Keys concert was at the Wells Fargo center, I didn't try to hide it much, but I didn't advertize it either. Either way, no one said anything to me.
