Although it doesn't show up in his storefront, there is a "510 battery" adaptor for the 808 cartomizers.

Also, the kits and components seem to be pretty darn good prices:

380Mah mega batteries are $9 each (auto and manual)
280Mah batteries are also $9 each
5 packs of empty cartomizers are $6.95
Starter kits are $28 (2 batts, charger, 5 cartomizers)

I'm placing an order from them right now, shipping seems to be a little steep ($18 for a starter kit, some adaptors and cartomizers) but not too bad. I will post back with my experience. They're in Canada, so I hope it ships fast.

And add LeCig.

Boy, the KR808D-1 has really taken off, hasn't it! Will it overtake the 510? It's got a lot of catching up to do, but I think it might. To my mind, it is the obvious (best?) choice for the newbie: it is simple, has a fairly long-lasting battery, and delivers strong flavor and throat hit and decent vapor.

[I don't happen to like the undertaste of most carts, but I can just screw on a GreenCig cart and be content (but at $3/cart it's an occasional treat for me).

Are you sure about that? On the FAQ page of their website it states:
Where do you ship from?
All our products are shipped from China.
Explains those shipping costs.

Honestly, at 3.7v, the KR808D-1 doesn't satisfy me like my 510 does. It just doesn't have the vapor production. But at higher voltage, it really shines, in my opinion.

I don't believe the KR808D-1 with a stock battery would have been enough to help me quit smoking, like my 510 did. But if I would have had a high voltage mod at the beginning, it would have.

My sentiments exactly. It does seem that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Lots of vendors have started stocking KR808 just in the last month.

Sounds like we've got a "Leaford" amongst us. Vapor: first, second, and third!;) Yes, 510 vapor is excellent (second only to GreenCig in my experience, although I've not tried a V9). I'm one of those who find 510 throat hit to be minimal and the flavor mild (although very enjoyable). The KR808D-1, on the other hand, has strong TH and flavor and fairly good vapor.

For the same reason that virtually every supplier jumped on the 510 bandwagon: it sells!

Yes I am loving it... the more suppliers the more options and the opportunity for fair pricing.... and I know for sure once more people jump on the carto wagon everyone is going to carry some sort of supply.

Oh I tell you what if more people bought Greencig cartos you wouldn't be paying 3 dollars a pop.

I find that if you don't want to tinker (besides refilling) and just want to be content with out the hassle the cartos are the way to go, no doubt. I have my opinions of certain 3pc models, but this is a carto sub-forum...hehe

I started off cartomizer and will continue to use them... I personal think this will launch off to a point where the populous will all be carrying at least a few blanks in their stash than flavored...

My sentiments exactly. It does seem that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Lots of vendors have started stocking KR808 just in the last month.

Could you expound on that a bit? exactly who is imitating whom?
