I ordered back on nov 8th from gearbest and has not landed here in ny yet either
Have 2 in operation now (White & Black).Has anyone here had there hands on the Smoant Knight V2 long enough now to give there impressions of it?
Also, does the finish on it hold up good? How is the overall quality?
I ordered the black colored version of the Knight V2 from GearBest back on 5 Nov, but have not received it here in Florida yet.
Thanks for any and all input ...
No problem at all pushing anything you can build in that old Kayfun. Very much operates like a non firmware update-able Evic but menus are a bit more rudimentary and limited but the Knight v2 gives you a TCR mode the V1 did not have.Tpat591 ... Thanks so much for the in-depth review.
I only vape in "VW power" mode, so the temp control really is not important to me.
As long as this Knight V2 performs as good as the eVic VTwo Mini I now use all the time, I will be happy ... The main reason I ordered this Knight V2 mod is because of it's side-by-side design. I really think I am going to like that.
I will be using a Kayfun Lite-Plus V2 atomizer with this mod (I am a mouth to lung vaper)
You will like the Side by Side format. Very compact, portable, and stealthy. Firing button was an adjustment for me on the V1, but once you get used to the position, it is no problem & very comfortable.
Shouldn't be an issue. I had 4 of them got through without a hitch. Smoant Knight V2 was actually designed prior to 8/8 anyway, just delayed in part acquisition and manufacture. It was manufactured well before many other mods that meet the 8/8 requirements. Smoant just neglected to sell a sample prior to 8/8 to establish the paper trail & that is why US distributors won't carry it.GearBest is having a flash sale on the V2, $35.99 shipped to the U.S., the sale lasts another 8 hours.
I'd like to pick one up, I'm a little concerned about it making it out of customs, thoughts anyone.
Thanks for the info guys, I'll likely hold off for bit and pick it up locally, as with all mods the price will eventually drop to what were seeing from companies like GB.
You were looking at Knight V2 right? US Distributors will not carry therefore it will not be available locally, only the Knight V1 will be. If you want it you have to go overseas & I would do it before customs decides to begin blocking imports. Thanks for the info guys, I'll likely hold off for bit and pick it up locally, as with all mods the price will eventually drop to what were seeing from companies like GB.

At one time, I was going to buy a XvoStick clone (nice looking mod), but after reading all the negative reviews about it's bad chip, I decided against it. I read that the authentic XvoStick had none of the problems the clone had ... but the authentic was kinda pricey so I opted out.
I wonder if they ever fixed the faulty chip that were originally in all the XvoStick Chinese clones?
The "fam" not including the "emergency sbs" knight/lead v1, the "luxury" box, and the wayward schtick clone which still hasn't found its way back home.

I've got a clone XvoStick and I've had no real issues using it in power or Ni200 TC modes. I've also had a Hana 40 clone with the same board, and, again no issues (the board did eventually die... Charging port issues). It's NOT a DNA 40... Not Evolv... But it ain't terrible...At one time, I was going to buy a XvoStick clone (nice looking mod), but after reading all the negative reviews about it's bad chip, I decided against it.
