Here's another new one....once again a cheap chineze unit, it's an all in one like the Nebox.
It's the Vapmod Xtube...weird name for a non-tube model...but aah well :D
This one is a bit odd....it says 60W with TC, but no screen?? How I am supposed to dial in my Temp/wattage......
It's on pre-order now at 3fvape for $37

1zmnqc5.jpg

Size: 25*47*98 mm
Atty depth: N/A (build in tank 8ml)
Atty diameter: N/A (build in tank 8ml)
Board: Unknown
Wattage/TC: 60W with TC
Battery: internal (2500Mah)
Cost: $37 (including tank)

Like the form factor...but not sure about the "no screen" thingee, I guess it's non adjustable...but that makes no sense to me with TC

You can get the one with the screen for 37.50$.

;)

Oh dear...... another B Box klown.

But which 40W chip are they using in the Pocket Rocket?

The new ones. They're made by Lay's.

Does that mean ya' can't have just one?

Good news. I ordered from 3FVape 12/2 and it arrived in L.A. by 12/7 and nothing since. They used chinese Epacket and tracking has been good. I used FT 12/4 and I have pics of the pkg they shipped, then nothing. Singapore post. Doesn't show up on 17 net either. FT has competition.

Bad news. 3FVape pays < $5O for reviews around the web. Just email them the link. I wonder if this one counts? Anyway, I'm not crazy about that.

A billet box clone I guess, Pocket Rocket  does it live up to its name. :D

Being very partial to the original mod & modder, I could never see myself supporting that one. But I certainly understand the allure, and couldn't blame anyone for wanting one at such a price.

I'll say this much, even with the "later-and-greater" stuff in my arsenal, this one still wins (hands down) when it comes to ultimate portability. And two of my three still get used VERY often, mainly because of that fact.

For potential buyers I'd just say that if you're planning on running anywhere near that 40w, have a LOT of batteries on hand. Running at about 11w, I'll go through two sets in an eight hour work-day (quite easily). Up near 40w you'll be lucky to get 60-75 minutes out of one set. I know one person, who modded his to a DNA40 chip, said he was getting 20-30 minutes per...

Glad I'm a tootler, that's for sure. :vapor:

And purely by coincidence, a couple of (very recent) posts relevant to the issue of BB clones, that some might find interesting. I have no direct experiences, so I can only present what others have stated:

(She was one of the first ever to own a BB clone, and was fairly critical of the clones when she eventually did get an authentic)

I have long been of the opinion that the authentic ones are well worth the asking price, and two of my vaping kids would agree wholeheartedly. In fact, both have used barely anything but their BB's since they got them (about a year ago). One of the two has some pretty nice mods too (he began vaping only a month or two after I did).

Put simply, they're great devices and you truly can't go wrong with them.

:D I'm not so sure. 26650 mods just don't have a wide appeal, which is a shame I think. Wasn't aware of your thread, but will check it out.

With "wide" being the operative word - at least in this case. ;)

Tis not for moi. Too widthy.

I see clones with that size battery. The longer run time and more power certainly has fans, unlike my fav size, 1835O, which will probably never evolve into advanced chemistry's.

Only the battery compartment was widened per that description. That would minimize the effect from the larger battery. You know what they say ...

Right, other dimensions are the same. Weight will be equivalent to a dual 18650 but much less bulky. Close to dual capacity without the bulk; that the logic of 26650 IMO.

I do, I do (and I DO remember Romeo Void!).

But the 20% increase in width (59mm vs 49mm) is significant, and it would bring literally no value to my tootle-puffin' ways. A single HG2 gets me much more life than I ever need, and is a quick swap or USB charge away...

My RailBox is only 57mm, and that thing NEVER leaves the house. Granted that it's also larger all-around, but at 20% wider, there's a good chance I'd stick a Billet Box into my pocket each and every time, instead of a Xvo. As it stands right now, the Xvo is about a perfect size for me. ANY increase in weight or size would throw it off kilter. The Pro is also 10 grams heavier, another no-no here.

That's just me though, and I've NO doubt that a LOT of people will be drawn to the Pro. For good reason too, assuming they're higher wattage vapers than me.

That's a dual 18650 on the left. A little deeper, but considerably less width (and not much weight difference, believe it or not).

Granted, it'll never be my Out mod (NO topper mod ever would, except possibly the Provi Ti), but the point is that it doesn't HAVE to be bulky. Proper planning can achieve much. :)
