Yes indeed, I will have to find someone state side to repair them. Last I looked the small screen dna 40 boards run about 60$, so 180 in boards alone, then the repair cost on top of that. The last time I had one repaired, it ran 55 with shipping.

The repairs will have to wait, the vape budget was slashed this month in preparation for a much needed three week vacation. :)
Or, you could buy 4 Hana One Mods and gut them... $80, total...

Good thought, checked the link and they are using an expired certificate, ~2 months old.
I would place a phone call before throwing in the towel. I bought one of these, and I know several others that did so as well... unless they've gone under, they're legit and likely just forgetted to renew...

In the last week, all FOUR of my side by side mods have bit the dust, and are in need of repair. The screen died on both of Xvos, as well as the ProXvo, and my union stick fire button has stopped working completely. Frankly, I'm tired of spending over 200$ on a mod that fails due to the board, or QC issues.

On to the question, has anyone tried the Aspire Plato with a nautlius coil? All of the reviews I find are for the sub-ohm coils, and I use my side by sides exclusively for nic-salt based MTL stealth setups. Any reviews, or experiences would be appreciated!

I bought a playdoh (as Kat called it ;)) awhile back. The vape is just what you would expect from a Nauty coil (nice MTL) and I loved the form factor, capacity (6-7ml iirc), and the magnetic pull-off cover that made changing batteries a snap. What I could not handle was the tank system. I have doubts that the little rubber stoppers that covered the fill hole would last, but the worst was trying to change a coil with liquid left in the tank. I could not figure out a way to remove the tank and change coils without making a big mess.

I've given up expensive mods too for the most part. I have an XVO and a BilletBox with a ton of Aspire bvc coils safely stashed, but my day to day vapes are Innokin mods...the CF18650 with an eggroll running 1ohm coils and a CF Mini/Ace running a Smok Spirals tank.

I need to do some checking to see if they changed the CF18650 battery life tolerances, because I wouldn't mind getting another. Probably need a couple more eggrolls and coils too....sigh

Sorry I've been absent, so much stupid at work happening right now I don't even want to look at a computer when I get home :(

Welcome home, StealthMeister!

So a sort of 'no' on the Playdoh, and a YES on the Innokin Coolfire 18650!!!

Yup. Call me simple, but the CF seems to check all the boxes, well built, feels good in the hand, uses a common long-lasting battery, and has worked for months without a hiccup, and can be had for $35. The only drawback is that the mod quits before the battery is truly drained. Maybe they fixed that, I dunno, but that is the only minor drawback I have found. Kinda not relevant to this thread since it isn't an SBS though :(

I ended up breaking the tank on the playdoh, just went with the CFs full time and never looked back.

Now that I have a BilletBox and an XVO stashed away, I'll never pay more than $50 for a mod again, unless it can attend stupid meetings at work for me.

I believe Hana Modz is closed for business.... last year. There are postings online of people trying to get ahold of them with no success.. website has been down for months, Last Facebook post was in 2015...
