I'm looking at upgrading in the next few months and am considering the E-Grip VT from Joytech.

eGrip VT - Joyetech

I really like the all in one design. Are there any drawbacks to this type of mod?
It leaks. It is hard to clean. Air flow is limited, so it is a restrictive draw.

All that said, I love mine for the convenience of an all in one, and I find the size really nice & stealthy

Hmmm.. Interesting, for sure. Ultimately positive though, so THAT will be my takeaway.

Sadly, I'll be the voice of discord. I had the eGrip for a short while and did not care for it at all. I will agree that cleaning it out was not the easiest of feats, and I recall that I had to do some sort of pin swapping to make the BVC heads fit into it (I didn't care for the Joyetech coils).

Filling it took consciousness. There was this one time (at band camp) that I inadvertently had it in the wrong direction, and the fill..... filled my lap.

Beyond that, it was ill-proportionally sized for its weight.

I WILL say it's cute as a bug, but that was its only saving grace for me for the short time I owned it.

The VT has been improved and the tank can be dismantled for cleaning.

The newer models also use CL heads, which means easy rebuildability... yep, that is now a word...

The recommend keeping them north of .8, I think, in Power, but I have a .7 in mine. Restrictive, but flavorful...

There is a little leakage when set aside for any long period with a full tank. I have not had any leaking in short term usage.

I find filling to be easy. Just hold the mod horizontal.

I have the OLED model, not VT.

I owned a Mini-Stick and sold it once I adopted regulated mods full time, the quality was excellent and I loved the form factor.

I've been eying the Xvostick for awhile now and realized something today...

I'd like the Xvostick much more if the atomizer cross strap was actually in the form of an X, not sure why he opted for a single slash...looks to me like an X could have been easily accomplished and would make more sense considering the name of the device.

Would have increased blockage of viewing the juice level and adjusting air, I'm rhinking. Structurally, thinner bands would have been unsound and thicker bands blocked everything... just thinking "out loud."

I don't think an X pattern with slightly narrower bands would be an issue at all, they're pretty thick, for me it would be a much cooler looking mod...not bad now but I think it would look nicer and it is called an "X"vostick.
But what would its special power be?
