So for a side by side box mod, how well would this work---- say I find an18650 mechanical I like, or even that blue adapter someone was talking about earlier, but instead just put in an 18350 with a Kick regulator deal.? That is, if they make one that size. I only vape around 10 watts nearly all the time, but like regulated for the consistent vape and maybe longer batt life Any thoughts anyone?

It's up to you but I would just grab a cheap side by side. Running at 10 watts is fine and will just give you better battery life. At lower wattage the ksd luxury box would be a great option. From china it can be found for less than 30 bucks. I used it for about a month and then gave it to my son in law. It has worked flawless for him for 6 months and still going.

18500 is 1100 mah and that would work with a kick. I use an ol' sigelei zmax with dual 18350's that give me 3 days vape time. Max wattage is 15w which is plenty for me.

You've already got some good advice. The Nemesis and Chi You both came with 18650 bodies and a kick ring. Find one of those, a kick, and a side by side kit, and you're golden.

You wouldn't happened to have a Kabuki? Does it fit the Smoant Knight?
I do not have a Kabuki. If you'll go ahead and send me one ;-P

I also did not bring my Knight with me today... but...

The Talos V1 that ships with the kit is 22x40.5 mm, not including drip tip. The Kabuki measures 22x37.2 mm, not including drip tip. This would lead me to say yes, it will work, but you might want to use a longer drip tip.

I couldn't imagine it wouldn't fit considering the Kabuki is a 22mm atty and you can use anything smaller than 23mm in it.

Think your right, shouldn't be a worry. Only thing I can think of that may be an issue is the height maybe making it a pain to get in and out...

Edit: Actually, I'd be adding the p3/510 adapter, so that would add some height... Might get one!

This looks interesting. Kind of defeats the purpose of a side by side by being so big.

Just wanna say that I absolutely love my Kato Square clone, with the KFL+v2 clone. Dropped several times, only "beauty marks", but still working like it should. Coil could be anything between 1.2 and 1.5 ohms, but batteries last all day(12+ hours).

Found a pic comparing this to a REO. While I believe that a REO may be more robust, I am not convinced 100%. My KFL+ with drip tip is barely taller than the Kato in the pic. I haven't used the all metal tank, but will be soon(kayak/wade fishing, don't you know).

If they were regulated I'd be all over it. Beautiful devices.

Agreed. :thumb:

I have liked the Kato designs since released. I have hoped for regulated versions. A simple VV, 10A, OKR-type chip would be perfectly fine.
