Five days since I ordered my Union. I have a tracking number, but for some reason, I get "no data" when I try to get tracking info :(

Got the leather sleeve for it too, I have high hopes for this one! (assuming I ever get it)

It may be sitting, or could be in transit. Which site are you tracking it on?

@pokemom - feel like going for a little run? ;)

I know, I know; "...a lot of nerve."

Mainly this one:
Отслеживание почтовых отправлений

also this one:
Tracking service | EMS - Express Mail Service

Ordered Sunday, got the tracking Monday. It's Russia, so who knows? Hopefully it doesn't take longer than FT from China, especially for a $40 shipping charge.

Just for S&G's, plug it into
USPS.com® - USPS Tracking®

Once it's actually on the move, it should show up there. Fingers crossed for you, Stealthy, and I'm DYING to see & hear about it. :thumb:

No joy on the usps site either. I'll send an email if I don't see tracking by Tues/Weds. I'll give a full report once I have it!

Sometimes it sits for a bit (one downside of international orders). Plus, I hear Russia's been a little busy of late.

Great thread!
I have been vaping for 5+ years now and have pretty much stopped buying stuff or even looking at stuff so I am very much out of the loop as to what's out there these days.
My Smoant V1 seems to have bit the dust and I was looking around for another side by side mod to replace it with. I am quite surprised that there are so few choices there are for side by sides, I thought the design would have caught on more than it did.... I hate box mods!

Maybe before I order another Knight someone could help me troubleshoot mine. I keep getting the message "No Atomizer". I have tried several atties with no luck. The 510 spring goes up and down as it should. I am at a loss.... I also can't figure out how to take this thing apart. The bottom comes off but everything is glued into the MOD so I can't get at the insides.

Any ideas of things I could try to get it to recognize an atomizer?

Sorry to see this, Fesso. I've similar issues with a couple of spring loaded pins and was unable to resolve them (that does NOT mean that they can't be fixed). Just for the heck of it, have you cleaned the pin well with alcohol? If there's a LOT of build-up on it, that could be causing the problem. Sometimes you need to scrape them with a needle or something too.

I'm guessing you're past this though, but I didn't want it to go overlooked. Another potential issue is that juice sometimes makes its way down into the electronics, which can be very problematic if it's a mod that doesn't come apart easily (for a good, thorough cleaning).

Outside of all that, the V2's are getting great reviews, and everything's pretty cheap these days. So that may end up being your best option.

I'm sorry that I wasn't more help and I certainly hope you can get it working again. Keep us informed please, as there are a lot of V1 owners in this thread.

I'm even curious myself (because maybe I'll learn something useful).

Thanks Ya, I've tried cleaning it with no luck. I thought the plate is supposed to spin, mine doesn't want to. I wish I could get at the inside of the pin to see what's happening there... oh well!

The V2 Knight is on for $45 CAD on FT so I may just get another one... At least it will feel like a slight upgrade and not just getting the same thing again. The V1 lasted me a year and it was only like $60 when I bought it so that's not too bad I guess.

I am also contemplating the Tesla 40W with TC.... but I don't like built in batteries.
I am pretty shocked at the lack of side by side options. I looked at the Kanger Juppi but it's pretty meh..... I think I just talked myself into sticking with the Knight and going for the V2....

Tesla also has a 70w w/TC and a removable 18650 battery. It is about the same size as the knight

...right outta my mouth. :thumb:

Also, if the plate is indeed supposed to spin but isn't, that would be an indication of the juicy-underside* issue I made reference to earlier.

I know that I clean out my fixed-pins one regularly, and it gets pretty "gooky" in there. If I let them go too long, I need to apply a fair amount of force to get the plates spinning (up & out). I'm not sure there's a way to combat it with spring loaded pins, but I've pretty much concluded that all of mine will have finite life-spans (due mainly to that issue).

This isn't isolated to SBS mods though, but it's something to consider (any mod) if prepping for a long haul. Hopefully, that whole concept (long hauls) will be made irrelevant soon.

Vape & let vape. :vapor:

* What? Get your minds outta the guttah.

Thanks Pokemom, I hadn't seen that one (Tesla 70W) yet, funny I was just about to see it in the "itty bitty under $100 MOD thread." it was coming up on the next page...

I didn't mind the heft of the Knight V1 so maybe I'll go for the Tesla just to change it up.
I have a 23 mm Tilemahos that is my main Atty so I'll have to check that it will fit... It fits in the Knight...

Hey DPLongo22: I saw in the "itty bitty Mods under $100" thread that you looked at the specs of the Tesla 70W and decided to pass on it ... what did you see that put you off?

That was strictly a personal thing for me, because it didn't offer any improvements to my existing options. If I were starting off fresh, it'd likely have been WAY high on my list.

I actually like the look of that mod a lot, but am at the point where I've become picky about adding things without a specific use in mind (or because I want to check out the workmanship).

I think the blue one is hot. :D
