yup, made it more expensive! haha.. Thanks for the effort!
Currently FT is $45.99
and GB is $37.58
I put one in a cart on each site and I'll see if the price drops.... sometimes that happens.
How's FT's shipping time these days? Last thing I ordered from GB was a flashlight and it took about 5 weeks... I think my original Knight V1 took 6 weeks from there too.... at least it's free!

FT's shipping has been awesome (7-14 days in hand). They're really upped their game. Me? I'd pay the higher price.

GB takes forever (AND a day).

Thanks Pokemom, I hadn't seen that one (Tesla 70W) yet, funny I was just about to see it in the "itty bitty under $100 MOD thread." it was coming up on the next page...

I didn't mind the heft of the Knight V1 so maybe I'll go for the Tesla just to change it up.
I have a 23 mm Tilemahos that is my main Atty so I'll have to check that it will fit... It fits in the Knight...

Hey DPLongo22: I saw in the "itty bitty Mods under $100" thread that you looked at the specs of the Tesla 70W and decided to pass on it ... what did you see that put you off?

That was strictly a personal thing for me, because it didn't offer any improvements to my existing options. If I were starting off fresh, it'd likely have been WAY high on my list.

I actually like the look of that mod a lot, but am at the point where I've become picky about adding things without a specific use in mind (or because I want to check out the workmanship).

I think the blue one is hot. :D

I bought a black and blue of both the 40 and 70 watt. I bought them more for my brother's girl than I. One of the 40w's 510 pin got stripped/wobbled out (I was using the adapter from the 70w to raise the tank) and one of the 70w (the blue one oddly enough) went into full ...... mode and was auto firing and giving a 'long smoking' message on the display. I have one of the 40w mods on my desk still (for my evening 0mg nic juice that I quit vaping) but havent used it in a while. I used the other 70w for a week or two to see if it would do the long smoking thing but tossed it in the stash as I usually vape near or above it's limits these days.

I am glad I got them all on sale for ~$20 each is the best I can say about tesla mods.

This is a cool thread.

I ordered a Knight v2 as well as a Kanger juppi and two toptank minis.
Shipped on Tuesday from FT so hopefully I have some pics and opinion soon!

I don't use temp control. Just kanthal @ .6ish and 4.3v.
Would upgrade to a crown or similar tank, but I really like not burning thru so much juice.
Excited to have more pocket friendly gear

Hey guys- Is there an SBS mod that can handle a 24mm tank other than the Rofvape Witcher which looks like a 1955 Oldsmobile? Specifically a Merlin Mini RTA.
I'm using it now on an old KBox :( I have a Juppi box but that doesn't handle it. I just love the SBS form factor.

Thanks!

Thanks for the honest appraisals of the Teslas Fozzy. My gut was telling me the same thing... stick with the Knight!

It's sad that QC on "China mods" are so bad. I used my Knight for about a week and it took a dump, the board started jumping, I got the check atomizer warning every other puff, and a week later it was history.

I've been using the original Tesla "100w" with not problem. I got the Tesla 40w and 70w about a month ago, use them daily and have had absolutely no issues. I don't use TC, but for straight kanthal I haven't had any problems.

The only one that I think MIGHT be able to is that very expensive one out of Europe (mental block on the name at this moment). It's more of an open design, but it still may be limited to smaller atties (not sure).

Maybe someone else here knows of one.

Wasn't gonna mention it because of the dize, but...

The massive Movkin Disguiser will handle up to 25 mm.

The European mod mentioned is the now discontinued Tek-Division Minion 2... a VERY pricey Dicodes SBS... and, it only handles up to 23 mm.
