Soon find out, I'm an extremely heavy vaporer and can be hard on my PV's. My Chuck quit firing this morning, completely, first time ever. Just an hour before my LS came in the mail. Was about to die using a regular 510 passthrough!

Chucks can be downright devious and extremely jealous when scorned. It probably overheard you talking about the LS and decided to retaliate. You might want to lock it up tonight before you go to sleep. Be careful....

Yeah I had originally ordered white, would have preferred black, got a message saying if I want it now choose blue or red or I can wait another 6 days. Psht! I got blue :D

Beggars can't be choosers , I would have probably took pink ,lol .I waited the ten days for the black one and I didnt want to wait again he probably can't get these lighters fast enough .

I have had mine for a few weeks now. While i use my Ego's allot the LS remains my go to mod. It is a high and tight little unit that takes abuse ( getting shoved in jeans pockets etc). Ken remains the king for me when it comes to customer service. I had been looking forward to Ken's next mod but I don't think I will order it. The LS has stopped my mod shopping. Very nice little unit that fits well in my rotation of Screwdriver, ego, lil chuck and add in the LS. Makes Tasty finger with the dial set on about 9 o clock just divine .

Ok just got my LS from (doots) she included two sets of batteries with one set in the unit ready to go. All I can say is WOW the difference between 3.7 and 6 is amazing. I put a standard 510 cartomizer on it with MsTs Peppermint Hot Chocolate low(14mlg) and it’s so totally different at 4.5 then on my standard Ego batteries.

I put the LS on the Volt meter and you can see the change in volts as you turn the dial.
Now to do some testing over the next few days and ill report back

OK, question. The heatsink? I assume, the metal part insde right below the atty connection, is it supposed to get hot if you vape continuesly for a few minutes? Andddd...what's the damn trick to open the case with ease?! I have to keep getting a paperclip out lmao.

The heatsink gets hot fast. For me it seems to get hotter the lower I turn the dial.

For easy opening carry a dime with you. I keep a little pocket screwdriver close at hand when I'm sitting at the computer.

OK thank you, yeah lower I go hotter it gets, had me worried for a minute there but....it is a HEATsink right? ;) lol

I keep a little USB case with some bottles, carts, batteries, drip tips AND a paperclip now lol glad to know it's not just me that can't open it, I should go get my nails redone :p

Yeah it's a heatsink. The batteries are in series so every time you hit the button you're getting full voltage. The voltage regulator knocks it down to whatever you have it set on and diverts the excess heat to the heatsink.

I have no nails - I have to use a pocket knife to remove the batteries.

p.s. You still doing a video review?

Thank God some answered that. Got mine today and that was the first thing I noticed. Well after the big plumbs of vapor that is. LOL I love this little thing. I look forward to your video review.

That was the problem I had with mine. I noticed after a few hours with it, the heatsink had melted the plastic on the battery cover. It's a great little mod, but I decided the 10440 batts didn't last long enough and that I'm perfectly happy with 3.7v and a LR atty.

Hi, guys, I've been lurking here for quite a while... I like the idea of a small variable-voltage mod, but I have my doubts about the batteries. Has anyone here tried to use the high drain batteries and if so, what were the results?

I havent used the imr batteries but what doubts do you have about the 10440? Now that I have 3 sets of batteries I have given into my baser instincts and am vaping at my usual pace 2.5ml per day. Im usally changing the first set after about 5 hours. Second set keeps me the rest of the day.

From an email from Ken last night in regards to the High Drain 10440 batteries
Kan has given me permission to post this information from his email to me.

I have some 10440 hd that I haven't put on the site yet. They work well, but I don't think they extend the vaping time. They might a little. I like them because I don't think they get stressed as bad as the others, and should last longer. Ken

So I take it u do not like the little sister mod after trying it? Your casing literally melted whoah.... I have an Joye eGo n was wanting something a little better and thought this would hopefully be better...my eGo batteries after getting the kit a month ago don't last long maybe a few hours n then u can tell the drop in performance
Has anyone else had these kind of expeiences with the LS?
