Long-Term Success Rate

I thought it would be interesting to check with those who have completely replaced their smoking with vaping to see how long they have been in the "former smoker" status.

NOTE: Read the YEAR carefully. I included time periods in the future so that we can continue to collect information across a couple of years.

I voted! October 9th 2010 was my ONE AND A 1/2 YEAR mark..... this April will be TWO YEARS tobacco free for my wife and myself using the e-cig.

Same here. Two years in April, and I've never felt better.

I voted too! Hubby and I just passed our 7th month mark with vaping and not smoking at all since the day our kits arrived. The truly amazing part is how quickly the time has passed and how painless it's been. Neither of us have suffered with withdrawals nor cravings, other than a few sudden urges which quickly passed with a few puffs from our PVs. This will be an interesting poll to watch.

I've been vaping for just over a year, and 11 months smoke-free today (11-15-10). woo-hoo!

22 months almost to the day. (17th) Analogs are so lame. Why would anyone smoke them?

Haven't had a Kool or any other AC in over 20 months. I was cautiously hopeful when I ordered my intellicig but it turned out much better than I imagined.

I started vaping the last part of March 2010 with two minor setbacks due to depression from not taking it a little slower and a family tragedy I had trouble with later on. While quitting cold turkey has worked very successfully for so many ECF members, I didn't do so well with it.
