Hi, Maybe you wanted to create a POST asking Who from When Quit Smoking or vaping and are still here, let see how the post/Poll goes

I have seen a few respected old-timers move into the supplier area.
And even some of the more "prolific" newcomers as well.

But there are plenty of old-timers that aren't doing anything but keeping it real.

And sure, there may be a number of old-timers who do not post here anymore for any of the following reasons...
1) Found what they need and don't feel the desire to continue posting
2) Got bored with the whole thing and got a life
3) Decided the restrictions on this forum are too tight (and now frequent other forums)

You have a long ways to go.
:)

I decided to find a way to quit smoking in May of 2008. Searching online landed me on an ad for Njoy. I ordered a kit and realized I had found my way to quit. Shortly after getting the penstyle Njoy, I found this forum. Man, oh man, things have changed! Back when I joined the forum, I could actually just use my first name as my user name. I spent a lot of time on the forum for quite a while and it felt kind of like a family. I really miss those days.

ECF has grown exponentially since then. That is a good thing, but because of the vast amount of information, I personally find it difficult to "talk" with other forum members or for that matter, find answers to my own questions.

Most of my e-liquid is now DIY. At present, I am happy with a V4L coolcart on V4L's passthrough. When I'm on the go, I was using 510 cartomizers with an XL manual battery, but recently switched to a Riva. I haven't smoked a regular cigarette for over 2 years. (I think I had only one since my e-cig journey began, and that was when I was over at my neighbor's house and didn't bring my e-cig with me). For me, e-cigs turned a money-pit bad habit into a money-pit hobby. (Insert "contemplative sigh" emoticon - I have no idea if such a thing exists.)

Oh well, I know my lungs are all better now and as a bonus I never expected, I have not had any bouts with colds or flu (yep, not even one, since I began using e-cigs).

I always seem to be searching though for that "sweet spot" combination of taste, feeling and vapor, so I expect to be "vaping" for the rest of my earthly life. :)

Never mind. I started a new poll because this one has some accuracy issues. I included dates in the future so that months or years later, new people could still select the date that applied to their situation. Unfortunately, this proved to be confusing. I have started a new poll. Even if you already participated in thiis one, would you plese be so kind as to answer the new one?

Thanks.

NOTE: Read the YEAR carefully. I included time periods in the future so that we can continue to collect information across a couple of years.

The problem with that is people won't come back and "unvote" if they fall off the wagon and go back to smoking. It won't stay accurate as we move forward.
