Thanks for starting this thread. I've been way too wired on nicotine the last few days and am not looking to trade one unhealthy habit for another. To me, this has felt like I've had too much caffeine and I'm not a big fan of caffeine. I used to love it, but I just decided to cut it out one years ago and since then I've not liked caffeine buzzes. Most days I have nothing with caffeine in it and when I do it's rarely more than a can or two of soda before 2 or 3pm. Right now, I'm at 12mg and I feel like I've been drinking Red Bulls all day. So, I'm planning to make the 0mg jump sooner rather than later.
I have a slightly different plan for stepping down. It's nothing revolutionary, but I thought I'd share it.
My plan is to go right to 0mg with "smoke breaks". In other words, when I'm feeling the need for a nic fix, I'll vape some 12mg (my current preference). Otherwise I'll be on 0mg for the rest of the day.
After I've gotten used to that, I'll drop to 9mg smoke breaks. Then I'll drop when I've gotten used to that and so on until I've eliminated the smoke breaks and am just down to vaping 0mg all the time.
I've got some 0mg in the mail and some DIY supplies on the way. I'll post back when I'm underway as well.
