Some left overs from early 2015 that I never got around to building... four Peko V2.2 Squonk mod Build Kits, plus both one back and one white Sculpteo Peko V2.2 Polished Printed 3D Kit. In their day they were a very popular light weight mech squonk mod and commonly were finished with customized colors/finishes on them.

View attachment 900901 Thanks for sharing the pictures @pdib.

My first favorite Reos were the Tumbled Raw Aluminum... I really liked the feel of them and their simple beauty.

My collection of Reo TRA's...

My favorite was the Grand Hammertone with slots on the body and door, I forget the name for those. Study finish.

The Hamertone was without a doubt the sturdiest finish on the early Reos. The slotted Reo's were called SL's (Super Lites). My favorite SL/LP was my Gold Anodized Grand that I called Fools Gold. I can't find the pictures of it in 'all' SL mode I took when I got it (probably lost them in a computer upgrade). But here's one off the old Reo site though, and a couple with it wearing a TRA solid door with a Manta V1-V2 Hybrid and an Atomic atty.

I've been in lurk mode for quite a few years now and my ego batteries and carts disappeared years ago.
What didn't disappear was some of the stuff that I paid stupid money for. Well, now that I've been off of analogs for over 7 years, the stupid money that I have into old gear was well worth it many times over.

Only the old school folks are likely to remember these.

I've still got one ...used very little.
I was going to put it in the classified along with a couple of others.
Can't beat them for performance

Here's a silly 'get by with tool' that in the early days of vaping is what I used to make twisted wire for making various types of twisted coils. I just chucked up a paper clip in this small Fuller Brush hand drill, looped the wire(s) in the clip, anchored the other ends of the wire in a bench vise on my vape bench and pulled tension on the wires to use it.

1spytwister.jpg

Why? Because it was already in a junk drawer in the kitchen, and all my power drill motors were over at my storage garage across town. FWIW, it got the job done just fine until I remembered to bring more tools home from storage.

Another oldie circa late 2013 to revisit some early vaping history.

Anyone else remember Phiniac.com in Marion, MT? This family business made quality etched carto tanks, vape tools, etc among other things. IIRC they got out of the vaping business in 2016, but stayed in the etched glass on other things business. That was back during the short Provari period in my vaping regime that I used mostly high end carto tanks driven with By Leo Sophia's instead of cartos. Anyway, here's a picture of a custom tank they made for me from my graphics, with a matching drip tip made for me by Brian at Drip Tip Desinz (Pineville, LA).

In hand it was too big for the Provari's (and later VapourArt GP PAPS) tube mods I used back then, so it never got used. Matters not, it reminds me of the very fine folks at Phiniac and DTD that I did other business with back then that was top shelf products. (And also the mostly good memories of another time in my life so long ago).

Cannot find anywhere that sells the M401 atomizers though, oh except USA vendors, nowhere in the UK though.

Are these the same as the M401s you have?

That company still makes and retails a lot of older gear. They're a reliable seller. I've placed a few orders with them this year.

And they even sell those, too lol

If for no other reason than something to do while bored, here is some more vaping history revisited.

Starting from between late Oct 2014 and early July 2015 a rage for squonk mod users was the new high quality BF Nuppin' Atty's. When it came to an uncluttered deck that has exceptional fluid dynamics in a small chamber, is single or dual coilable with 1 to 3 adjustable AFC slots for MTL to Restricted DL vaping, the Nuppin' was a fast favorite of most that bought them and they became the Cat's Meow. Soon enough they were all gone and became iconic to those who wanted some. I acquired 8 Nuppin' atty's and lots of spare parts for them soon after they came out or traded for two of them soon after. They were made on the central east coast by a MFG, but were sold by a PNW MFG of his own line of mods. I respect them and their privacy... if either wants to ring in here they will.

Some of the ins and outs...
There was both a V1 SS only and V2 SS or Navel Brass or Black Ano version where the deck base itself was changed to remove a bottom plate that was on the V1's base (that IMO could have some minor leaking). How to build the deck was a bit unusual for most new vapers, so some images were also put together that we posted to guide the way.
N1.jpg N3.jpg N2.jpg

One of several pictures I have of the V2 run...
N4.jpg

My favorite build on the Nuppin's was mounted high center that directed all vapor from the coil right up the drip tip to further improve the atty's fluid dynamics. Since I am a serious DL vaper, when around home I left the AFC rings off them so I had all 3 AFC slots wide open for massive air and massive flavor rich vapor.
N5.jpg

My Nup X 8 were ran on various Reosmods... 4 2015 Woodvil's and 4 Grands. The 3 SS V1's have Loki Labs Router DT's, and the 5 V2's have Navel Brass, Copper and Delrin Custom Big Bore Syner DT's on them
NupX8.jpg

At what averaged at something over $100 each they were money very well spent at the time IMO and were among the best of the BF atty's I ran on my Reos back in my coil days.

It hasn't been vaped for a very long time, but the Jatoba/Ebony Reo Woodvil with a Back Ano Nuppin' pictured above still sits on my computer desk as a reminder of the days when it was one of my favorite squonk mods.

This must have been 15 or 14 years ago,air flight attendant from KLM brought it to me from China.

Funny how people looked at me when i took my pack of smokes and plugged it directly into the wall.

Wow a blast from the past reading through this thread. I have a ton of old stuff dating back 10 years. I should dig it out and see what I have. I remember all of us trying like crazy to get a good vape off of what was offered. Marineland Type-U filter material, pyramid tea bags, stir sticks....anything that was deemed safe to try to beef up what we had available.

Good to see you too zoiDman and I hope everything has been good with you and family. It's been awhile. It's been crazy these last few years but in a good way. Granddaughter has been keeping me busy for the past year.

All pretty much Good on My end.

I've had some Ups (Retired) and some Downs (Lost a few Very Close Ones) but like everything, We Keep Moving Forward. And I have Much More to be Happy about than to be Sad.
