@Spydro You have such an amazing collection of early vape gear. You could start a museum.

At least a Reo museum.
Very cool to see all this stuff get posted here.
Thanks, but there were a lot of folks here on ECF back in my early days here that had far more examples of early vaping history than I did. In part because they were here and vaping years before me and samples of them were already all gone. But unfortunately most of those folks have not ran this forum for years.
The Queen of Reos way back then was Karen (nerak) who I think owned as many of or more of them than other folks. From my start buying Reos she already had more than twice as many of them that I acquired. When the Reo Forum here shut down in March 2016 I left ECF too. And when I came back to ECF after about a 1.5 year hiatus on a SA forum (in around August 2017) I heard that she was last seen on a FB Reo Group in June 2017 that I didn't know had been started (I do not use FB).
The history of vaping was part of the draw that got me interested in vaping in the first place (I had already quit smoking before I ever even heard of vaping). So some of what I bought was rarer early examples of specific gear more for their history than to be gear that I would use. Quite a few of my Reo's were bought to be just that. Those that I did use occasionally were only used as a 'treat' rather than as a daily driver (especially some of the Woodvil's, the OG VV Grand, a very early Mini, and others). I also acquired a lot of photos of many kinds of early gear that appealed to me as well that came before me (but that I couldn't find examples of to buy), and the stories of their history. For example with the Reos, I have pictures of the very first Reo made, the first one sent to a customer and the ReoMeisters work bench with some of the mods he made on it before he came up with the first Reo. And a lot of production photos he took of new models as they came along. Karen had tons more of photos of Reo history than I did (some of mine came from her, some from research online).
Long gone from the vaping community and chasing another personal interest, Robert will never be forgotten by a hellofalot of folks worldwide who vape or vaped during his era.
