Yeah... Things were Kinda Different back when I (and Many Others) Started.

Did you catch the part about the 1.5 Ohm Atomizer being "Low Res"? Or that the LavaTube couldn't go over 2.5 Amps?

People throw the term "Game Changer" around a lot when talking about some New tank or rda. Variable Wattage was a True Game Changer.

LOL

I remember downplaying VW so adamantly like it was a gimmick. Everyone that owned a provari was like "excuse me? why do I NEED vw? I have a $300 vv mod that works just fine. That $50 Sigelei Zmax has nothing on the VV provari"

and the DARWIN hahaha. only the cooolest modders had the Darwin. It even precluded the provari if i remember right. The Screwdriver, The Darwin, the Buzz, The Provari. Madvapes VV box mods lol. then the 5v regulated box mods came out. All the sites were selling "make your own box mod" kits. Remember the Megalodon? Then we had the Silverbullet, the Bolt, the BB.. The Katana... the Golden GREEK!! (I am STILL saving up for a GG lol)

A flat top what? 18350?
a flat top Zmax lol. remember, they came out with the beveled top provari copy first, and then hybrid tubes and flush mount tubes got all popular, they came out with the flat top Zmax. Or people were buying like $40 beauty rings to make their provari flat top too lol.

I quote myself from another thread.

    Here's a code for vpdistributions.com for 20% off entire order WELCOME20 good through 10/31/2020/

The shopping cart shipping estimate gives the wholesale shipping charge which on my $20 order was $9.99, but when checking out my order was set as retail by default and the actual shipping charge was $3.99

I remember when I couldn't even afford caravela CLONES lol. I think I single handedly kept vape gear at the low prices we still enjoy today. I think I probably made 25 "that's too expensive" complaint comments a day back then lol.

The HCIGAR Caravela was the 1st Mech I ever owned. And I don't remember it being all that cheap.

But then again, an Authentic Caravela was BIG Bucks.

Dude, I clicked "like", but the only suitable click was really the big red X!!!...that stuff was such garbage!! It's amazing how far we've come in such a short time
While sorting thru some boxes I came across a fairly large stash that brings back fond memories of the years when Ready X Wick ruled the roost in most of my coil atty's. I bought a bunch of the 2mm & 3mm sizes, then the 4mm size when it came along. But I only used the 3 & 4 because 3, 3.5 & 4 were my preferred DL coil diameters for big vapor.

Picture is of what was the last order of 4mm I bought (3') back in 2017 (that looks like I never got around to using any of). No surprise though... this wicking material lasted almost forever in my atty's because of the way that I used it.

I won't click anything, but a big red X also comes to my mind as well as appropriate to your comments. Vaping is progressive, and like with everything else in life, what is liked or not in vape gear is subjective to the individual. At the time I liked RXW. But I also eventually moved on to what I considered was better. End of story "Dude".
