I should mention that while I use vamos all the time, my first mod is/was a zmax;
the one I have is just a tube and bottom cap; the top cap does not come off and there is no segments to the tube; and it's stainless steel; because of the way it's made, it's well- a very solid piece of steel; very durable.

I don't use it much because it's a single button interface.
Other than that, it does suffer the problem that most 510 interfaces on regulated mods and eGo batteries have, where if you screw down too hard, you get center pin problems and in this case a 'Low Load' indicator.
But its very durable in construction.

I like the rocket mod,and the look of it and the durability, it reminds me of the itaste 134, my question with both of them is, how low of an ohm can those mods take? I am guessing a safe level is 1.3 ohms, but I gotta ask, also it doesn't help me ever know my battery level, and have seen good reviews of the Rocket and 134, I just, I guess I wanna know the cons of a spin wheel setting for wattage versus the normal buttons and such? can it mess up and say it's at 10 Watts and instead is at 5? Cause the 134, looks awesome and seems awesome but.. idk,

So I wanted to wait until the Provari p3 came out to see the cost of "the most durable ecig" and.. 250 is a bit steep. Does anyone know a DURABLE (and I mean like can double as a weapon if need be lol) mostly because I am clumsy and fall and drop things. Anyway yes a durable variable wattage MOD?

The mod for you is a Vamo V5 with bayonet and grenade launcher. Seriously, has anyone ever settled a fight with a personal vaporiser?

im sure there are mods out there that will perform as well but i jumped on the provari wagon early and havent needed another mod since..i did get a back up provari if i needed it but it never gets used..thinking of selling it to get the p3

It's a lot of little things making me shun the provari 3, like the scroll screen and one button, why not make it two button, or even make it easier to navigate? especially when you have sub menus, and your wattage comes in .1 increments, there's also that the 250 doesn't get you a battery, a tank, a charger, nothing but the mod itself. I've seen full kits retail for 140 that come with way more than any single starter should. heck my lavatube came with Battery, Charger, Tank, Carry case, battery case and mod with extra rings, for 120. I get that provari has a lineage and a following because of durability but damn.

I don't feel like reading through all the post here so I will just tell you what I got. I got an Itaste VV. I have dropped this thing more times then I can count. Mostly on carpet but I have dropped it outside on the pavement a few times. The thing is still working fine. I am so glad it seems to be really durable. Especially since I wouldn't be able to afford to replace it right now. lol

Yeah it's pricey for sure. But, their customer service is second to none, and the unit is rock solid. The electronics are right on the money in terms of voltage/wattage, etc., and personally I prefer having one button. For every additional moving part there's an additional opportunity for failure/problems. I know my P3 will last forever...and if it doesn't, I like knowing I can send it back to Provape and even if it's out of warranty I'll get a square deal in getting it repaired. I have a bunch of cheaper mods, and you get what you pay for.

Yes, you get what you pay for.
Vamo 6 can do everything that provari do and is much more comfortable than provari due to its user-friendly 3 button interface. And its less that $30. Sure, it does not have warranty and sure provari will outlive if. But what the heck? I do not really need a longevity in times of fast changing hardware. Would you choose a smartphone on the basis of longevity?

I've got two telescopic Sigelei Zmax V3s and a V5. One V3 is 19 month old and the other is 12 months old. Both work great. The youngin' in this set is the V5 which has only been in use for 7 months. The V5 had a bad switch at 4 months so I soldered in a replacement switch. It's my favorite rig. Yep, I've had my fair share of drops and fumble disasters with them but they still keep working and the brushed stainless steel still looks great.

After 19 months of use I ordered a new set of four 18500 batteries to run these rigs yesterday. After more than 300 charge cycles the old batts are starting to show signs of getting tired.
