Hey there folks.

Well i got some work done today so i made 50 euros translating for some British.
Had to stay in the hospital for two and half hours, wasn't happy about it with all that is going on but you know,i needed the dough.

So anyway,my wish list for a RTA to go with my new Jackaroo (finally in Spain YAY) was the Peacemaker 25mm RTA,i just like the shaped of it...like the barrel of a revolver in the old west plus it's durable and coil placement seems easy.

But...

I just saw a pic of a Jackaroo with a QP Design Kali RDA/RSA and i liked it A LOT!!
Short and chubby and not as tall as the peacemaker but it's a dripper,i don't drip it's just to much of a pain.

So i resort to all you vaping masters and your infinite knowledge of vaping apparatus (love using the word apparatus, makes me seem smart doesn't it? hehe).

Looking for an RTA similar looking to the Kali, you know short and chubby, better with a single coil deck or in default a double but can be used (without performance loss) as a single coil.

Not a fan of bubble tanks and capacity isn't much of an issue, anyway i can only get 2ml's here in Spain *shrug*
For filling purposes 2ml is fine if it has a good solid filling system,i mean that there is no noticeable tear and wear.
Using the WASP NANO RTA at the moment and not a fan of the top filling system nor the drip tip that doubles as the cover.

Also as an added plus if it's available in Black that would be a huge bonus since I'm going for a full black look.

About the deck itself it would be cool if it were like a peacemaker or even like a ZEUS X,what i mean is an open type deck not like the one i have in my WASP NANO RTA.

Bit of a pain to put in the coil since there isn't much wiggle room,so an open type deck is better suited for my needs.

Well that's about it,thanks in advance for all your help guys.

Keep yourselves healthy and stay safe :)

The obvious answer - since you already have the Wasp - is the OFRF Gear RTA. Short, 24mm, 2.3 ml capacity with the straight glass.

think i saw a review from Jai Haze about that one, will check it right away.
to be honest the only 2 reasons im getting a new atty is because of the color (wasp is silver) and the top filling system i don't really like that much.
Want something with a proper 510 or 810 on it.
Will check the atty you mentioned, thanks buddy :)

Here's a picture with the Gear in gunmetal on the Jackaroo, I think it's to small for that mod and you will be filling it every 8 minutes.

@Cloud-FF7 - I'm not sure what the deck on the Peacemaker or the Zeus X looks like. I didn't go take a peek anywhere at them. But every other requirement you're looking for in an RTA seems to be met by my all-time favorite RTA...which is the original Vandy Vape Berserker full size version @ 24mm. My longterm stash has plenty of them in it, in addition to the 2 I use on a daily basis.

It comes with 2 tank types and sizes. The 1 that's installed when you buy it is the 2mL Ultem tank. It also comes with a 4mL clear glass tank replacement in the box.

The shape is IMO, short and chubby compared to many RTAs. It comes in 4 colors, including Black, and looks good on any mod I've got, which is a decent variety of them.

There hasn't been a single thing I don't like about them. The vapor = extremely smooth; the flavor = amazing; for airflow adjustment = multiple hole sizes to choose from; as far as juice consumption = it's stingy; and the deck (to me & many others) = very easy to build on. It's a topfill, but many of us bottom fill it instead. Lets us check out how the wick and coil are doing while refilling.

However, if you're a DTL vaper, it wouldn't be the right RTA for you. Some say they can vape restricted DTL with it, because of its airflow hole choices...but definitely not DTL.

Thanks for the feedback on the berserker.
Yes i did take a look at those but didn't look much into it because of the type of the drip,is it possible to use one of the wider ones?

Tried looking for some pics or info on that but haven't found any.

    cheers

You can use a drip tip on it that has a 510 bottom and a larger diameter top part. I just measured to see how large it could be. One that's no larger than 13mm OD at the top...would fit. However, with the 510 being the size hole the vapor is coming up through...you'd definitely get at most, a restricted DTL vape.

Fasttech is in China. Shipping is free, but be prepared to wait. Now, with Covid 19, be prepared to wait A LOT. I ordered some replacement glass on April 14. It's still sitting in China... at the Shanghai Airport, if tracking is to be believed.

The TPD editions of the Dead Rabbit RTA will only hold 2ml of liquid. However, that RTA will not do well with a single coil as it has 4 juice slots (2 per coil). You have to build a big coil, and split the wicks... tricky...

The original Zeus, the Engine Nano, the Solomon 2 or 3, CP TF, and Vapefly Horus are single coil, top air RTA that would work better than the Dead Rabbit (which is one of my favorite RTAs, BTW).

Also consider mesh RTAs. The Kylin M, Themis Mesh, and Zeus X Mesh are top air, and quite nice once you figure the wicking out...

Actually... I Believe that FT is located in Mainland China. And as Shawn mentioned, with the COVID-19 situation, deliverers have been Severely Impacted.

I too am Waiting for a FT package to be loaded on a Plane. Or even get to the Terminal.

It's Ironic in a way. Because one of the items on that Order are these...

Welp, my recent order came from Hong Kong. It's in the US now but I paid for DHL shipping as it was over $200 and I'm mildly impatient.

DHL Shipping is whole Different animal. So it wouldn't surprise me if it Departed from Hong Kong. But that Isn't where FT is Located.

Before all this COVID-19, I was fine waiting the 10 ~ 21 days it took from stuff to get to me via China Post/USPS e-Packet. And I couldn't justify the Cost of DHL.

But now, if I did another FT order, DHL is something I would consider.

Dunno. I posted the address. I trust that more than the overflow of misinformation I see here daily. Not to mention my order sat in Hong Kong for almost a month before DHL received it.
